Formula One Fall for All Road Rally
The Arctic Alaska Region of the Sports Car Club of America will be sanctioning the first event of the 2015-2016 Winter Road Rally Series on Sunday, October 25th. The Formula One Fall for All Road Rally is a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon — a road rally, social time with fellow rallyists and motorsport enthusiasts, and we'll be watching the Circuit of the America's Formula One race at the end of the rally. There will also be chili and corn chowder with fixins too! We are so very fortunate that three Rallymasters have stepped up to take on the responsibility of putting together challenging, clean (no busts) and creative Road Rallies for the upcoming Winter Series! Rallymasters want to know that rallyists are planning to attend and looking forward to competing on their rallies. Cheryl Lynn will be the Rallymaster for the Formula One Fall for All Road Rally and Gail Engblom will serve as the Road Rally Safety Steward. You'll be traveling familiar roads in the Dimond and Jewel Lake area, using route instructions with a twist!
Given the generous volunteer hours needed to go into our events — from the pre-check workers time, Rallymaster re-check calcs/printing, and rally expenses—we need your registrations as soon as you know you'll be running! Please do not wait until the last minute — show your interest to our Rallymasters! We need five registered and paid teams by Wednesday, October 21st for the event to happen.
The starting location for Formula One Fall for All Road Rally will be the Carr's grocery store, which is located at the intersection of W Dimond Boulevard and Jewel Lake Road in Anchorage! With online registration for your team we can expedite the time needed rally morning: we will send out the Generals (rules of the game), we shall have all of your registration information (no forms to fill out), and with a signature on the Waiver Sunday morning— you'll be set to go out in search of checkpoints!
Teams will sign waivers, have a vehicle inspection (if your vehicle is roadworthy - you should be good-to-go!) and we'll have the Driver's Meeting at 1120A. Please arrive on time, as we'll want to get you down the road with first car out at 12:00PM.
So that you may plan your afternoon, the rally should be wrapped-up with rallying and learning of the finishing scores by 245PM — and then you can join in for the chili 'n chowder and watch the Formula One race too!

Event requirements
REGISTRATION and ENTRY FEES
We encourage all of you planning to enter this event to register here at http://www.alaskascca.motorsportreg.com. One of your team will need to register the vehicle and their position on the team (Driver or Navigator) and the other will need to register their position on the team and personal information only. The entry fee for the Formula One Fall for All Road Rally in the Winter Road Rally Series is $15 per team member, with members of our sanctioning body, the Sports Car Club of America, receiving a $5.00 discount. Please pay online or bring a check for payment at the event. Of course cash is also acceptable payment at the event.
Due to the nature of the motorsport known as Road Rally, Rallymasters must have ample copies of the Route Instructions and Checkpoint Slips prepared in advance of the event; there are no copiers along the highway! This is why we need your registration here and we will keep online registration open until 12:00P on Saturday, October 24th. Registration will also be open between 11:00-11:15A on Sunday, October 24th — yet we can not stress enough the importance of registering online to make sure there is a copy of the routes for your team. And for this event, ample time for the cooks to prepare enough chili 'n chowder too!

DRIVERS LICENSES
Drivers must present a valid driver’s license. If under 18-years-of-age, competitors (anyone in the vehicle) will need an SCCA Minor Waiver signed by their parents (or legal guardians) and presented prior to competition. Contact the Region at 243-2122 or 745-2013 (9A-7P) to obtain a form prior to the event if parents are not going to be at the event to sign.
CLASSES and VEHICLE INSPECTION
The SCCA will recognize Expert and Novice Classes for this event.
Each team will be required to complete a Vehicle Inspection prior to the start of competition.
