The February First Friday Niter is almost here! Jeanne English is the rallymaster, and this month she will have you going in circles! The rally runs in Santa Clarita, and finishes at Topper's Pizza Place, 23710 Valencia Blvd, Santa Clarita, 661-222-7888 (at the intersection of Magic Mtn and Valencia Blvd). All cars will travel the same route, and there is only one lettered instruction active during the rally to 'R and Pause 15 seconds' at each otherwise uninstructed T. The only traps on the rally are whether you correctly pause or not for the lettered instruction.
We are using the Richta GPS Competitor app for timing and scoring, with timing in seconds. The maximum penalty for this FFN is 2 minutes (120 seconds) per leg, and all checkpoints are referenced in the route instructions. Before you arrive at the start, please download the Richta Competitor app; it's a free download for Android and Apple
Please register here on MotorSportReg, it helps us plan for how many cars will be attending and makes registration quicker for you. If that doesn't work, you can still register in person at the start. We start at the Bank of America rear lot, 10300 Sepulveda Blvd (Sepulveda and Devonshire) in Mission Hills. In-person registration opens at 7:00 pm, with the first car out at 8:01 pm; there is a beginner/Richta meeting at 7:40 pm.
