Here's your opportunity to reserve a number for your exclusive use during the current FAST autocross season! $25 reserves your very own number from September through the end of the season in July!
Some important tips for you:
- Your number will be linked to your user profile, so be sure you're logged in as yourself and registering YOU and not someone else.
- If the system will allow you to select a number, that means it's available.
- If the number you want is not visible on the list, then it is not available to you.
Event requirements
Registering a permanent number does NOT register you for any particular event. It merely reserves your number so that no one else can use it.
Having a permanent number allows you to invest in a nice set of magnetic, vinyl or even painted numbers for your car with the confidence that your number will always be available for you when you register for a FAST event!
Before you go spending money or getting creative, have a look at the FAST Car Number Policy. In short, keep things Simple, Bold, High-Contrast (against the color of your car) and LEGIBLE at speed.
Colors can generally be thought of as "Dark", "Medium" or "Light". Most Reds and a lot of Blues and darker Greens would fall into the "Medium" category. You really need a LIGHT color to contrast with a DARK or MEDIUM color. Red does not contrast with Black, for instance. Make your numbers visible and legible. Not fancy, just visible and legible!
