Road Trip Series 2022
There's no better way to enjoy your "Ultimate Driving Machine" than to get out on the road. It's even better when you venture out with fellow club members. Summers in Minnesota are brief. Make plans to hit the road and join in the fun!
Elmer's Big Finale - Saturday, August 6, 2022 - 10:00 a.m.
We are headed down the Mississippi on the Wisconsin side for fabulous back roads and a tour of the incredible Elmer's Auto and Toy Museum. Our group last visited Elmer's in 2016 and we were amazed at the extensive collection of rare cars and toys crammed into five huge buildings in a truly unbelievable setting. Sitting on Eagle Bluff, one of the highest points along the Mississippi River, the panorama is a site to behold (www.elmersautoandtoymuseum.com).
Elmer passed away in 2019 and the family has now decided to auction off the vehicles in September 2022. So, this is our chance to visit Elmer's one last time to see his remarkable collection before it is dispersed across the country. Don't miss this final opportunity! Admission is $15 for adults, Students 6-17 years old $5 and 5 and under free. Bring cash as credit cards are not accepted.
While we head south down the river, we'll make a stop at Maiden Rock Winery and Cidery (www.maidenrockapplewinerycidery.com) near Pepin and at a Kwik Trip in Alma. After our tour at Elmer's, we will dine at Vino Over The Valley, an amazing al fresco dining experience just outside Fountain City (vinooverthevalley.com). You may have been to Vino in The Valley before, but this is Vino Over The Valley. Same owner, two different names.
We also have a new gathering point. The ride departs from the Woodbury Jerry's Foods parking lot at 10:00 a.m. The address is 7760 Hargis Pkwy, Woodbury, MN 55129. Note this is a different location than the Kohl's in Cottage Grove where we met on previous drives. Please plan to arrive at Jerry's by 9:45 a.m. with your gas tank full. We'll review the route, answer any questions, and hit the road.
When you register, be sure to add your passengers too. That will help make sure we have the right reservation count for the restaurant. Thanks!

All participants (drivers and passengers) are required to sign a Release and Waiver of Liability form prior to departure.
