2021 DRSCCA Solo Supps
In light of the pandemic, we’re taking precautions to ensure that our autocross events are as safe as possible for all entrants and volunteers. We will continue to re-evaluate our procedures as things change.
We ask that you be patient and understanding with the actions that we are taking. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact John Li, the Solo Director.

Registration
We strongly recommend paying online. It makes registration and check-in much faster and facilitates contactless check-in on-site. We will accept cash and checks, but note that it will be more expensive to do so, and you will need to provide the exact amount as we will have no change at registration.
Depending on government mandates or site owner restrictions, there may be limits on the number of people that can be on-site at a time. Any entry caps will be stated on the registration page, and any changes will be communicated to people via the website, Facebook group, and direct emails to registered and waitlisted competitors.
Waivers
We are using electronic waivers (aka Speedwaiver) which allow you to sign using your cell phone. It is strongly recommended that you use the electronic waiver. For those unable to sign the waiver electronically, we will have paper waivers available upon request.
Any site-specific waiver forms will still need to be signed when entering the site for the first time with the waiver worker.
Drivers Meeting Information
We will do socially distanced on-site drivers' meetings during check-in. We may email entrants with drivers meeting notes before the event, and any questions before and during the driver's meeting can be directed to the event chair and the Safety Steward after the driver's meeting is completed.
Paddock, Course, and Timing Truck rules
When outside and not in cars, all entrants and event workers must maintain 6 feet of social distance from non-related persons. This means staying 6 feet away from other people in the paddock, out on the course when doing course walks or working corners, and in spectator areas.
Face masks are mandatory when using indoor restrooms, or if you are within 30 feet of the timing truck/RV. A 30-foot perimeter will be marked around the timing truck/RV, and anyone within the marked perimeter must be wearing a face mask.
No one outside of the timing crews will be allowed inside the timing truck/RV when the event is running. This will be strictly enforced.
Anyone found flagrantly disobeying the rules detailed here will be asked to leave the event immediately.
Loaner helmets
It is strongly recommended that drivers bring their own helmets if at all possible.
We will allow drivers to borrow loaner helmets. You will be asked to use a head sock with the helmet. Passengers are not guaranteed access to loaner helmets; we will be trying to reduce the number of folks sharing helmets while still offering drivers without helmets an opportunity to compete without having to buy their own.
We will not be able to sanitize helmets between users and will attempt to limit to the best of our ability the number of drivers that end up sharing a helmet. If you are not comfortable with this, please bring your own helmet to the event.
Availability of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Competitors are responsible for bringing their own face masks. Please do not forget to bring your own. The club will have a small reserve supply of face masks at the timing truck/RV for those that forget to bring their own, but we may not have enough PPE to supply all entrants at an event.
Remember, face masks are mandatory when within a 30-foot radius of the timing truck/RV.
