St. James Tour and Lunch at Public Brewing House

The Columbia Porsche Group will hit the road for its initial tour of 2021.  We have a fun route planned with a stop in St. James at a local brewery for lunch.  St. James Winery and Public Brewing House have joined their newest facilities to provide a modest menu from the Brewery’s kitchen, indoor seating as well as patio seating.  The menu includes wine from St. James Winery and beer brewed in the big vats visible through the wall separating the restaurant from the brewery.  All parking is paved and right in front of the two businesses.  There is even a ¾ acre common area with trees and paved paths.

Plan to meet Saturday morning around 9:30 May 8th at 3412 Grindstone Drive, where Lazer Lanes was located, in their parking lot in front.  LaCrosse Lumber is next door.  The driver’s meeting will be at 9:45 a.m. and the tour leaves Columbia at 10:00 sharp.  Robby Robinson will be tour captain this trip and asks that you bring your PCACommunicableDiseaseWaiver202103011.pdf release forms printed in color with you and the standard PCA Tour waivers, both signed by drivers and passengers.  Blank forms will be provided if needed.

Also required is the Release of Liability waiver, and the “Minors as Observers” waiver, if applicable:

The trip will include a break at the McDonald’s on Jefferson City’s east side, then we’ll arrive at the St. James restaurant just before noon.  Total drive time is about 100 minutes.  The restaurant is located at 551 State Route B, St. James, MO 65559.  Directions will be available for those without GPS.

Those wishing to return with the tour can expect to leave St. James around 3:00 p.m. and arrive back in Columbia before 5:00.  Fuel is available with 93 octane in St. James.
