Spring is here! We are all looking forward to Porsche driving weather and getting back together with friends new and old. The Columbia Porsche Group has Saturday April 23 circled on the calendar as a perfect time to kick off touring. Plan on arriving at Home Depot at the southeast corner of their parking lot in Columbia, MO in time for a 8:45 a.m. drivers meeting. Trip directions and planned rest stops will be noted on paper handouts and distributed at the meeting. Cars will be departing at 9:00 a.m. Home Depot is located at 3215 Clark Lane.
Our destination will be lunch in Hannibal, planned for noon at the Mark Twain Brewery. It's located at 422 N. Main on the north side of downtown. https://www.marktwainbrewingcompany.com/ I've talked to the event planner there and she is looking forward to seeing us. The restaurant has plenty of seating, pub food menu and drinks. Parking is available right next to the building in their private lot.
Following lunch, the tour ends and everyone is encouraged to explore Hannibal in the afternoon. Several new places have opened since the last time you visited, so there is plenty to do both downtown and within a few minutes of the brewery.
