On Saturday August 27 the Columbia Porsche Group will gather on the west side of Columbia, MO for a popular event. Although it's been awhile since the club has visited Jefferson City on the west end, in previous years this trip has seen up to 18 members making this run. Driving down winding two lane blacktops following the south shore of the Missouri River, the drivers and passengers experience a route that has plenty of pizzaz.
The goal is to have an evening meal at one of the capitol's best restaurants. For the past 30 years, Domenico's Italian Restaurant in Jefferson City has boasted a menu of seafood, chicken, select cuts of steak and of course their delicious pasta. From the fresh salads to the tasty desserts, this is a dining experience that will satisfy all comers.
For years, there has been an impromptu shine 'n show gathering the last Saturdays of the warm months in Jefferson City. Time permitting, we will cruise by the Capital Mall just down the street from the restaurant to take in the car show before the meal. Those wanting to join up for the meal only can expect the group to be seated by 6 p.m. at Domenico's.
