About this event
The ChesMont Historical Trek is a historical tour of several sites in Chester and Montgomery counties. This is a NON-COMPETITIVE EVENT. That is, there are no trophies to be won, but also no pressure, just a leisurely drive through the countryside. You can spend as much time, or as little time as you want at any stop. Or come back another day with your instructions when you have more time. The first site we'll visit is the nearby Valley Forge National Historical Park. Several, but not all, other sites, such as the Paoli Battlefield in Malvern will have a Revolutionary War connection..
Our route will cover 60-70 miles (depending on which optional sites you decide to visit). The route is totally paved, so no worries about dirt/rocks.
Start:
Outside Panera Bread in the Gateway Shopping Center at 125 East Swedesford Rd in Wayne, PA.
Schedule of Events
10:00 am Registration opens outside Panera. Your registration packet will include the route instructions as well as publicity material for other upcoming events in the area. All participants must sign a liability release, and non-members must fill out the weekend and trial membership forms and minor waivers for anyone under the age of 18. You may have as many people in the car as there are seatbelts in the car.
You may depart whenever you are ready, but we encourage you to grab a bite to eat/drink at Panera and look over your route instructions.
Finish: The Schwenksville, PA area where several restaurants are available for lunch and are listed in the route instructions.

Event requirements
The cost is $20 per team if at least one person is a SCCA member, $35 per team if there are no SCCA members. The non-member fee includes a $15 weekend membership fee which includes a $15 coupon towards Annual Membership if redeemed within 60 days.
Cars must be in working order and be insured with auto insurance policy with liability limits of not less than $20,000 /$40,000/$10,000 (no exceptions). Each entrant must certify that the car entered is on the road legally and is either owned by the entrant or is being used by the entrant with the owner’s permission. Any participant under the age of 18, must have a minor waiver, printed in color and signed by all parents/guardians.
Non members are encouraged to complete their weekend membership forms before the event and bring them along to expedite registration.
