CCCR Peterson Museum in Los Angeles by Bus

Meet on September 22nd at Alfano Mercedes in San Luis Obispo by 7:15AM to park, sign waivers and board the bus.  We are doing this tour by bus to avoid parking fees and return driving through LA to Santa Barbara on a Saturday night when Angelenos are still fleeing concrete ribbon land (LA).  The bus cost is $42/person and Museum entry is $16/persson.

You will sign the PCA Waiver and the bus will leave by 7:30AM.

There will be a second stop at the OLD Costco parking lot in Santa Maria at approximately 8:00AM for south county member pickup.

This event is limited to 54 persons(This is a full Bus), first come, first served.  After the first 54 are registered, you may register and will be placed on a wait list.  If a cancellation occurs, the first on the wait list will be promoted to confirmed status and notified of this change.  If you are still on the wait list at event time, you will not get onto the bus, sorry.  Register early to assure a place.

You will arrive at the Peterson Museum  at about 11:45AM.

Lunch will be your responsibility at the restaurant in the museum or BYOB.  To make a reservation at the restaurant, click here>>>http://dragoristorante.com/  We recommend not making a reservation before 12:15PM to be safe.

We recommend you bring your own drinks and/or bottled water.  There will be storage room in the luggage compartment for coolers to be used on the return trip.  We have paid a deposit that is refundable if there are no soiling accidents to allow alcoholic beverages on the return trip...maybe mimosas on the trip down.  Check this spot for more information in the future.

The bus has a rest room, TV screens with input from a DVD, and may have WIFI...again check this spot for more information in the future.  We plan to show at least one movie on the way down and another on the way back.  Watching is optional.

We will leave the Museum at about 5:00PM

Currently the Peterson Museum has a special Porsche exhibit with one floor dedicated to this.  

We also hope to have an extra cost Vault tour.  The Vault tour was revised in the middle of July so If you have been on it previously, it is now different.  The cost is $20/person.
