WOSCA is pleased to present Round #3 of the 2019 CASC Ontario Regional Autoslalom Championship

Important Information:

Online registration is mandatory!

Online entry fee $45 for non-members. $35 for WOSCA/CASC/SCCA members.

Gates Open: 8:00 a.m.

Enter through Gate 3 at 45532 Elm Line St Thomas (NOT AT THE AIRPORT PUBLIC ENTRANCE)

Check-in/Registration: 8:30 a.m. 

Drivers Meeting: 9:30 a.m. 

Please note that spectators are not allowed. This is a current airport rule. We are working to get the policy changed.

  • Being out in the middle of a huge open space, there will be constant direct sunlight. Bring sunscreen, lots of water.
  • There will be a portable washroom onsite.
  • More than one driver may be registered per car, however if you do not arrive early enough the organizers reserve the right to not allow both drivers to run. If sharing a car, each driver must register and pay separately. Please make sure the shared vehicle is shown on both drivers' MotorsportReg.com profile/garage.
  • Two driver cars should only have one number visible while on course.  Shoe polish or tape is acceptable.
  • Drivers are not allowed to compete in more than one car. 
  • All cars must have a number clearly displayed on both sides of the car.

Vehicle: 

  • Must be a 4-wheeled vehicle with an effective muffler, secure battery and must be free of loose items that might fall off of the car. Inside the car, the interior and trunk/hatch must be free of loose items such as iPods, CD’s or ice scrapers that could interfere with the driver during competition. The driver is responsible for vehicle safety.


WOSCA Supplemental Regulations:

  • All competitors must attend the drivers meeting prior to the start of the event.
  • All competitors are expected to marshal during the event.
  • Purposeful tire marks (i.e. burnouts, drifting, tire warming) in the paddock area will not be tolerated- the paddock area speed is dead slow- 5mph. If the organizers see wanton disregard or disrespect of their property, you will be asked to leave with no refunds issued.
  • Be courteous and obey the rules of the road while not competing.
  • The Event and/or Series Organizers have the right to refuse entry or disqualify a competitor from competition for any reason.
  • Decisions of the organizers are final.
  • No reversing on course.
  • Red Flag condition means to pull OFF the racing line and stop.
  • If a "cone out of position" is seen, slow down, but don't stop, and complete the course at a less than competitive speed- you will receive a re-run, if your issue is valid.

Event requirements

Helmets:

  • Helmets meeting the following standards are approved for use in Autoslalom:
  • Snell 2015 SA or 2015 M
  • Snell 2010 SA, 2010 SAH or 2010 M
  • ECE R22.05
  • FIA 8860-2018, 8860-2010, 8860-2004, 8859-2005
  • SFI Foundation 31.1/2015, 31.1/2010
  • Snell 2015 M, 2010 M or ECE R22.05 rated helmets are not acceptable for vehicles equipped with a roll cage. These drivers require a helmet which meets one of the FIA, Snell SA or SFI standards listed above.
  • Helmets may be either open faced or closed face. They must be in good condition both inside and outside and never subjected to a crash or other severe impact.

Car Numbers:

  • All vehicles must display numbers and class letters on both sides, which must be readable by Timing & Scoring, Course, and Grid workers at all times.
  • Only one set of numbers and class letters may be visible while the vehicle is running.
  • Each digit making up the number must be a minimum 15 cm high and 2.5 cm wide throughout, tape or shoe polish in an contrasting colour is acceptable.
