Ladies & Gents,
As part CASC's promotional activities, will we be having a video piece professionally shot and produced showing the various CASC-OR disciplines.
The bulk of this footage is going to be shot at Mosport on Sept 27th & 28th, as such, we are invited to hold an autoslalom event using the lower paddock area (should be a larger section than we had access to last time) on Sunday September 28th.
This will be free of charge, limited to 30 respondents and will not be included in the regional championship.
To keep the competitive element, we'll run a mini-competition for raw time in 6 classes:
Fastest Grocery Getter (FWD/RWD/AWD): All cars of that drivetrain configuration prepped to Street Touring ruleset, or under.
Fastest Trailer Queen (FWD/RWD/AWD): All cars of that drivetrain configuration prepped to Street Prepared ruleset, or higher.
Yes, we already know you daily drive your SM/SP/P/Mod car. No, we don't care. 
Entry priority will be given to regional volunteers, regional competitors and those who volunteer to help with timing and course design, setup/tear down for this event.
Given the goal of the event is to allow us to shoot the promo video, I may have to give priority to certain entries: It is going to be a little dull if we have 15 Miatas and 15 Civics.
We will also need our event to accommodate the needs of the film crew, so expect some disruptions etc.
Event requirements
8:00 am - Registration Opens
9:00 am - Registration closes
9:00 am - Driver's Meeting (All Drivers Must Attend)
9:30 am - First Car On Course
Given that we'll be accomodating the film crew, I can't say how few or many runs we'll be doing. Please expect to alter your normal day to enable us to get the required footage.
Our event will be covered under the CASC-OR Race Event coverage that will also be occuring that day.
