About this event
Welcome to the California Autocross Championship series where you have the chance to become a State Champion. The series monitors results from specific high profile autocross events throughout California and uses a Formula 1 style of points system to determine a champion for each class at the end of the season.
Entrants who register for the series will each receive two "Registered Competitor" decals, a "Competition Vehicle" dash plaque and a series t-shirt all mailed to their address of choice. After each official event on the calendar an "Event Winner" sticker will be mailed to each class winner. Champions at the end of the season will earn a trophy which will be distributed at an awards event in November in Central California (or will be mailed free of charge if driver cannot attend). For the 2023 season five events (rounds) are on the calendar. Three of the events must be entered to qualify for a State Championship. Of the five events, one event will be dropped from the driver's points (the lowest score or an event they did not attend).

Round 2: 6/17/2023, SFR SCCA Regional Round 7, Crows Landing
Round 3: 7/1/2023, AAS Larry Park Memorial (Day 1), Crows Landing
Round 4: 7/15/2023, Fresno SCCA Krider Classic 100, Fresno Fairgrounds
Round 5: 10/15/2023, Sacramento SCCA Bill Fleig Enduro, Thunderhill (Autocross Pad)
CLASSES
All SCCA National Solo classes (open and ladies) are eligible to compete for a State Championship. Additionally, an award will be given to the Top PAX driver and the Top Time of the Year (TTOY) driver.
POINTS
1st-25, 2nd-22, 3rd-20, 4th-15, 5th-13, 6th-11, 7th-9, 8th-7, 9th-4, 10-1, 11th-0
AWARDS
Event win stickers will be distributed to class winners after each round. End of year champions get a State Champion trophy and 20% off gift certificates from I/O Port Racing Supplies. The Top PAX driver and the Top Time of the Year (TTOY) driver will also earn awards.
ENTRY/QUALIFICATION
Simply register here with your name, class and mailing address and for the one time registration fee of $80 your welcome packet and stickers, dash plaque and t-shirt will be mailed to you. Attend at least three events on the calender, have more points than any other registered competitor in your class and you are the State Champion! Point totals during the season will viewable at www.calautoxchamps.com.
You will need to individually register and pay for each event on the calendar with the specific club/sanctioning body who is hosting that event. Your California Autocross Championship registration does not automatically enter you into any of the events on the calendar and it does not guarantee an entry spot into any of the events. Our suggestion is that you register early for each event to avoid registration caps.
NUMBER PANELS
Not required for the series, but functional with number and class correctly sized per SCCA rules, California Autocross Championship magnetic door panel sets (18.5" x 22") are available which will include the driver's last name.
