Cahoon Ranch Overlanding Event
Please join us at Cahoon Ranch for the 3rd annual Audi Overlanding event on Saturday, May 18. Overlanding is vehicle-based, on-road and off-road adventure travel, with a focus on self-reliance, resilience and enjoyment of the journey. The most appealing aspect of overlanding is that anyone can do it.
Club members are welcome to a day of exploring multiple off-road trail drives, clay pigeon shooting and rifle range access with a shooting range specialist on hand. If you are bringing your own firearm, please bring ammunition and protective equipment.
Pack a picnic lunch or bring your own BBQ favorites to grill. The club will provide non-alcoholic beverages along with sweet and savory snacks.
Our friends at Audi Steven's Creek will provide two to three modified Allroads for guest rides on one of three courses or you can experiment with your own car!
Event requirements
Schedule for the day:
10:00 a.m. Meet at the Cahoon Ranch entrance at 39201 East Carmel Valley Road.
A detailed map will be provided with the registration packet. Please note that the location is remote, there is no cell service (15-20 mile stretch) and have a full tank of gas. PLEASE ALLOW 1 HOUR 15 MINUTES for the drive from Carmel or Monterey.
12:00 p.m. Lunch and “Overlanding” tech talk provided by the team from Audi Steven’s Creek.
Your checklist for the day should include the following: lunch, folding picnic chair(s), hat, boots, sunscreen, walking stick, bug spray and a lightweight jacket as temperatures may vary. Please note, there is poison oak on the property.
The ranch is definitely “off the beaten path” so prepare accordingly, cell service is limited.
