Join the Experience
A half day autocross at Bimmerfest West, sponsored by the BMW Car Club is for show attendees who want to push the envelope a bit. This event will provide a chance to become comfortable with any mods you've made on your BMW. Once you know what you and your car can do, drive the challenging course for your best time. The autocross is hosted by the Los Angeles Chapter of the BMW CCA and will feature skid pads, emergency maneuvers, braking distance testing, and timed runs - plus - a battle for bragging rights among your friends ! Participant's times will be posted throughout the day and then posted later online.
And the best part is, each participant receives a one-year BMW CCA membership valued at $48! (New and reinstated members only). Entry Fee
Early registration: $53 until May 17 at 11:59 p.m. PDT
Late registration: $60 from May 18 - June 2
Onsite registration: $65
A one-year BMW Car Club of America membership is included with your entry fee ($48 value).
New and reinstated members only.
There will be a morning and afternoon session with availability for a total of 100 entries.
50 slots are available in the morning session and 50 slots are available in the afternoon session.
Autocross Schedule
Morning Session
8:30 a.m | Driver’s meeting
9:00 - 10:50 a.m. | Advanced Handling Exercises
11:00 - 12:15 a.m. | Timed runs using complete course (includes most of the handling exercises plus additional road course segments)
Afternoon Session
12:30 p.m. | Driver’s meeting
1:00 - 2:50 p.m. | Advanced Handling Exercises
3:00 - 4:15 p.m. | Timed runs using complete course (includes most of the handling exercises plus additional road course segments)
Important Details and Requirements
- This event is for non-BMW CCA members attending Bimmerfest who are interested in joining the Club and participating in a exciting day of autocross.
- Convertibles and retractable hardtop vehicles are allowed.
- Snell 2010 or newer helmets are required. We will have some rental helmets available for those without a helmet.
- Participants must be 16 years of age or older and have a valid driver's license (license must be a full license, not just a learner permit). Drivers 16 to 18 years of age must have a completed minor waiver. The waiver is double sided and must be printed in color.
- Participants may not give rides, but we will have BMW CCA AX coaches available if you want your friend/spouse/family to have a ride. Passengers under 18 must have a minor waiver.
Event requirements
Do not add a friend to your registration. PLEASE have your them register separately.
Your credit card will be charged April 2.
If your credit card has been declined you will have 24 hours to provide a new credit card of your place goes to the next on the waitlist.
Cancellation before April 1 = full refund.
Cancellation April 2 or later, no refunds but you can find someone to fill your slot.
