BMC Rally I - Route 82 & Coatesville GP Rally
Start Location: Brandywine Springs Park, 3300 Faulkland Road, Wilmington, DE 19808
Located at the corner of Rt 41 (Newport-Gap Pike) and Rt 34 (Faulkland Road)
On-site Registration: 12:15-12:45 PM
First Car Off: 1:00 PM + Car Number thereafter
Finish Location: Four Dogs Tavern, Marshalton Inn, 1300 W Strasburg Rd, West Chester, PA 19382
Classes: There are 2 ways to run this rally. The Observational Tour has easy-to-follow route instructions with a 20-question Q&A challenge about details you will see along the route. The Tour class has no average speed or timing concerns. The Easy TSD shares the same route, but with a single average speed and DIY checkpoints challenges instead of Q&A. There is no trivia section for the TSD class.
Cost: FREE! We want to introduce automobile enthusiasts to a fun type of motorsport with a long, rich history. All BMC rallies are free for the 2017 season.

This rally is a pleasant drive through northern New Castle and southern Chester counties. We will stop at Northbrook Mareketplace along the way to check out this 1850s fieldstone barn and market. The rally route also goes into Coatesville, PA to follow the street circuit used for the Coatesville Vintage Grand Prix. The rally then continues to Marshalton, PA for refreshments and trophies.
Event requirements
- All street legal cars are welcome to compete. Each car typically requires a 2-person team of Driver and Navigator.
- Navigators do not need to preregister separately.
