Audi Club Summit Point Season-OpenerSummit Point - Summit Point Circuit
About this event
Welcome to our season-opening HPDE at Summit Point Motorsports Park, sponsored by Toyo Tires. This event is open to all run groups/skill levels (4-Green, 3-Yellow, 2-Blue, 1-Black, 0-Red) and includes classroom sessions for most non-advanced run groups. We aim to have four run sessions per group per day with a lot of track time, top-notch instructors, and an abundance of fun!
Before registering, please get more info and details for this event and other Potomac-Chesapeake Chapter (PCC) events on our website: http://www.audiclubna.org/potomac.
BEFORE registering, please review PCC's DRIVER EDUCATION EVENT RULES (https://audiclubna.org/potomac/driver-education-event-rules-regs/).
There is information there for students, instructors (including instructors who are interested in instructing with us for the first time), and refunds/cancellations.
Active Audi Club North America (ACNA) membership is required to participate in this event. If you are not a member, or your membership expires prior to the start of the event, you will not be able to register. Please visit audiclubna.org/join to join or renew. If you are a new member, you will receive an email with credentials to login to your account and retrieve your member number (you can also use the Audi Club app). Once you have your member number, please follow these instructions to add it to your profile.
VEHICLE NOTE: You do not need to drive an Audi to participate in this event. Convertibles are only permitted IF approved safety equipment is installed. High center-of-gravity vehicles (e.g., SUVs, CUVs, etc.) are also restricted. Additional details, including pre-approved makes/models, are provided in the Driver School Event Rules. Non-street-legal open-wheeled cars are not eligible to participate.
Never been to an ACNA Driver Safety and Education event and want to get a better idea of what it is all about? Check out this FAQ ARTICLE (https://audiclubna.org/potomac/driver-school-faq/) previously published in the Quattro Quarterly. Note, that each event is unique, but the article will hopefully answer most questions and give an idea of what to expect.
Pre-event packets will be posted 3-5 weeks prior to the event listing on the PCC website. Once available, download, and READ CAREFULLY as they contain important info, such as tech inspection requirements, waiver forms, on-site registration location, etc. It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to review the packet and have the appropriate forms completed. If needed, other updates will be posted here and send via email to registered attendees.
