About this event
Join ASM for some quality seat time at Carolina Motorsports Park. This event is open to any driver with at least Intermediate-level on-track experience and also serves as a test day prior to the GRIDLIFE Festival at CMP.
All entrants will get a minimum of five (5) 20-minute sessions.
Entry fee is $300.
Event Schedule
Wednesday, Mar 29th
6:00PM: Gates Open / Load-In (On-site camping is permitted)
Thursday, Mar 30th
7:00AM: Check-In Opens
7:45AM: Driver's Meeting
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM: Track Hot
Final Schedule with run groups will be released closer to the event.
This event is capped at 100 entries. Run groups will be capped at 25 cars per group to ensure quality track time.
Run Groups
Comp Group: Open Passing; Intended for race cars with safety equipment and race-licensed drivers, and more highly-prepared Time Attack vehicles with safety equipment.
Advanced Group: Point-by passing anywhere; Intended for Advanced-level HPDE drivers
Intermediate Group: Point-by passing on straights; Intended for Intermdiate-level HPDE drivers
This event is not intended for HPDE Novice-level drivers. All drivers are expected to have multiple days of track experience, be familiar with standard passing and flagging rules, and be generally comfortable in a lapping day environment.
Note: Faster HPDE & slower Time Attack/GLTC (Competition) cars may be moved to keep the speeds balanced & run groups safe.
DRIFT Group: Full-course drifting for experienced drifters. Drivers must contact ASM for Drift approval prior to their entry being confirmed. All drifting must remain 100% on road course pavement. Drivers must immediately stop drifting if they leave the track surface. Drift Group drivers will get the same track time as all other run groups; (5) 20-minute sessions.
Garage Rentals: $50
Garages are available to rent through ASM Events. Drivers also renting a garage for the GRIDLIFE weekend should contact ASM to coordinate their garage space for the weekend with CMP.

Event requirements
All drivers will be required to complete a self-tech sheet before going on track.
Snell 2015 helmet or newer is required.
18 years and older with a valid Drivers License. Contact us for drivers with track experience under 18.
