The Villa, Route 46 East, Mountain Lakes, NJ

Registration is free. Lunch with Ross Bentley (starting at 12:30) is $25 per person.

The NNJR Advanced Drivers’ Seminar is designed for those who understand the basics of high performance driving and want to improve their technique and skills.

We are extraordinarily pleased this year to have Ross Bentley leading this popular event. Ross is a well-known race driver and author of the “Speed Secrets” series of books. This promises to be a “must-attend” event.

Here are the important logistics:
§ The session will start promptly at 1:45 PM (meaning you should arrive by 1:30! —but not earlier, there are other events going on).
§ A hot buffet lunch will be served at 12:30 PM, but ONLY FOR THOSE WITH ADVANCE RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS.

PowerTech will attend with a variety of helmets, driving gloves, safety devices, etc. If you need a new helmet, this will be an opportunity to look at the options.

About Ross Bentley

Ross Bentley has spent the past twenty-five years driving racecars at every level: from Formula Fords to Indy Cars (CART), from Showroom Stock to Prototype Sports Cars.  In those years he has won numerous awards, races, and championships including the 1998 United States Road Racing Championship and the 2003 Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona.

More importantly, for almost twenty years, Ross has developed and instructed advanced driver training and coaching programs. These include skid control, street survival and collision avoidance skills, police driver training, high performance driving, and race driver training and coaching.  He has trained and coached drivers who have won at every level of the sport.

Ross has also written seven books on driver development:
Speed Secrets: Professional Race Driving Techniques
Speed Secrets 2: More Professional Race Driving Techniques
Inner Speed Secrets
Speed Secrets 4: Engineering the Driver
Speed Secrets 5: The Complete Driver
Speed Secrets 6: The Perfect Driver
Speed Secrets 7: Winning Autocross Techniques

Ross gets a real kick out of helping drivers take their performance to an all-new level. In fact, Ross’ goal is for driver coaches to become as accepted as coaches in other sports.
This combination of studying, driving and coaching at the highest levels gives Ross a perspective on driving that is perhaps unique to him alone. Who else has raced and coached at the levels he has? His love of driving and racing is only matched by his passion for coaching other drivers. And, he has the ability to present his knowledge in a way that is easily understood and absorbed by drivers at any stage of their careers.
