Join Audi Club Northwest at The Ridge Motorsports Park (RMP) on August 17-18 for Strassenlage 2013!
Strassenlage (handling!) is the name of this event on the ACNW Calendar and by popular demand it has been expanded to two days! This is the second year of events at The Ridge Motorsports Park (1060 W Eells Hill Rd NE, Shelton, WA, 98584) and we are all very excited to have this opportunity to run the very challenging course.
We have packages in MotorsportReg for both days, or either Saturday and Sunday as single day solo or instructed lapping. The two-day package is $390 and $225 for either Saturday or Sunday. Plenty of track time and a nicely served lunch is included both days. Fees for instructors who have attended the Instructor Clinic are $0. Instructors who did not attend the instructor clinic will have a fee of $120 each day they instruct. All participants must be at least 18 years of age.
Objectives for Strassenlage are to practice and refine the experience you gained from attending previous track events with Audi Club Northwest or other car club events, so we do have instructor support available. To qualify for Strassenlage, drivers must have previously attended a DE/Skills Clinic. This is a lapping event only as there are no DE/Skills Clinic avaliable. You will be asked to select your skill level as part of the registration process online. Attendance of a DE/Skills Clinic at another car club may be acceptable. Please check with the Event Master.
Please join us Saturday (8/17) evening at 6 pm for a no-host dinner at the Grove Street Brewery, 233 S 1st St, Shelton, WA 98584 in the Garden Room. When registering please indicate whether you will join us! This will be an informal gathering to meet others from the event for some good food and telling a few lies.

Registration pricing includes lunch. Guest lunches are available for $15. Note: When meals are a part of our events, ACNW will attempt to accommodate special dietary requirements if requested. However, meals are provided by third parties and circumstances may not always enable ACNW or its vendors to meet every special dietary need.
RV camping is permitted at the RMP parking area for Friday and/or Saturday night provided they have a list of people beforehand. Contact Doug if you are interested in camping overnight at the track.

Event requirements
Drivers must have previously attended a DE/skills clinic to qualify for Strassenlage’13. Instructors will be available for anyone who wants coaching, and for those who are not signed off to solo (Intermediate). Please indicate the signoff in your Log Book for driver skill level when that question appears in the registration process.
Everyone must sign the Release and Waiver for Audi Club Northwest’s insurance coverage when coming onto the facility. This requirement includes drivers, instructors, teens, guests and visitors. The full text of this Release and Waiver is on the next screens. Please read it carefully. Please contact the Event Master or Registrar prior to the event with any questions.
Convertibles and roadsters are not permitted to run high speed driver training or lapping events unless equipped with an approved aftermarket 4-point roll bar or rollcage in the car, and 4-point ASM(anti submarining), 5-point or 6-point harnesses. Equal restraints must be provided for both the passenger and the driver. For example, harnesses with 4, 5, or 6 point mounts used by the driver, must also be provided for the front seat passenger. The roll bar must pass the “broomstick rule” such that a broomstick from the top of the windshield to the top of the roll bar is over the head of the driver. The TT convertible, A4 Cabriolet and S4 Cabriolet will not qualify for tech inspection without an aftermarket roll bar. Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs) are not permitted.
Our Helmet Requirement for this event is for Snell 2005 or later. The SA (Special Application-Automotive), M (Motorcycle) and K (Karting) designators are approved until 2016. We have 28 club helmets in various szes available for rent ($25) on a first come, first serve basis. If you still need a helmet but they are all rented out at the time of your registration, please make a note in the registration comments that you need one. We cannot guarantee that one will become available however. You will not be allowed to participate without a helmet.
