The driving season is now upon us! This is a multi region/multi event,sponsored by WTXPCA and the Carrera regions with a Solo 1 Auto-X, a drive out, and a tech quiz. Thursday, April 23 about 5:00 pm we will arrive at the Quality Inn at Deming, NM. 

Friday, we will be doing a great drive out, stop for lunch and return back to the Quality Inn at Deming, have a social, and dinner.

Saturday is the track event at Arroyo Seco ( 15 miles east of Deming on I-10) 7:00 AM- 1:30 PM, then a social, dinner and tech quiz, On Sunday we will depart for home.PLEASE note, this is NOT a Porsche only event, so bring out your pride and joy and join us!

THURSDAY 4/23- 5:00 pm arrive at Quality Inn, Deming, NM

 FRIDAY 4/24- 9:30 to 3:30, nmeet at the hotel lobby, drive out, plenty of turns, switch backs and elevation changes, lunch, return to Deming

FRIDAY 5:30 to ? social and dinner

SATURDAY 4/25- 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM, Solo 1 event at Arroyo Seco, ( 15 miles east of Deming on I-10)

SATURDAY 3:00 to 5:30, Downtown, shop, relax, etc..

SATURDAY 5:30 social, dinner, tech quiz until?

SUNDAY 4/26- Check out, go home, drive safely!

HOTEL: Quality Inn, Deming, NM, 575-546-2661, Diana (mgr). Rates are $ 75.00 per room, per night, $ 254.82 for the 3 nights including tax. Call and tell them you are with the Porsche Club. Make this reservation NOW, as you can cancel within 72 hours.

SOLO 1 AutoX: SATURDAY 4/25- 7:00AM to 1:30PM, PLEASE be on time as tech inspection starts at 7:30 and first car out about 8:30. PLEASE do a pre- tech inspection on your car, check for the usual, leaks, brakes, wheel torques, battery hold down, throttle return, lights, tires, gas cap, etc. We will be doing our tech inspection also. THIS TRACK EVENT IS LIMITED TO 20 CARS/DRIVERS!!!

BRING YOUR OWN HELMET. We won't have loaner helmets. Snell 2000 or newer.

COST: Sign up/Pay up between March 4th and March 28th at the discount rate of $ 100.00! MARCH 29 and later will be the regular rate of $ 135.00. If you prefer, you can pay this $ 135.00 at the track or send a check made out to WTXPCA, to Rick Garlock, 9805 Vicksburg Ave., Lubbock, Tx. 79424.The ONLY cost from WTXPCA and Carrera region is the track event itself. REFUNDs will be of the $ 100.00 part.
