Welcome to our 2nd annual
MUSTANG ROUNDUP
"GET ON TRACK"
experience for Spring 2026!
We start the day with a "show & shine" cars & coffee gathering in the paddock of the classic 2.2 mile Shenandoah Circuit. Come and show your Mustang while checking out all the other cool Mustangs and meeting like-minded enthusiasts! Then for more fun, it only costs 50 bucks per session to GET ON TRACK! The day will feature four available introductory GET ON TRACK segments during which participants will receive out-of-car instruction and one session on track (approx 30 minutes of lapping at a spirited pace.) Drivers are welcome to sign up for more than one session and enjoy as much track time as possible. There is literally no cheaper, quicker, or more simple way than this to GET ON TRACK at Summit Point!
TENTATIVE SCHEDULE
7:30a - gates open/cars & coffee begins
9:00a - drivers meeting for GOT groups 1 & 2
9:30a - GOT group 1 on track
10:10a - GOT group 2 on track
11:00a - drivers meeting for GOT groups 3 & 4
11:30a - GOT group 3 on track
12:10p - GOT group 4 on track

Event requirements
Pre-registration is required to guarantee your GET ON TRACK spot. At-track entries may be available (cashless) but are not guaranteed.
Eligibility: All drivers and passengers must be at least 18 years old with a valid drivers license. Passengers are ok as long as they are age 18+ with a seat belt and have signed the waiver. Each entry is for one driver + one guest/passenger. Additional guests are $10 each online via this registration page or at the track that day (cashless.) The only cost for the "show & shine" portion of the day if you don't want to GET ON TRACK will be $10 per person at the registration table (cashless.)
Vehicles: It is the driver's responsibility to confirm legality and assure safe mechanical condition of their vehicle at all times. It is strongly recommended that vehicles be thoroughly and routinely inspected by a reputable technician beforehand. Summit Point does not currently allow electric or hybrid-electric vehicles to participate but this may change for the future, please check back.
GET ON TRACK Tech Inspection: GOT is "self tech" and those requirements can be found at this link. Most any street car that would pass a Virginia state inspection or similar is ok. Convertibles are ok, some trucks and SUVs are ok - please inquire before registering.
Weather: These events will take place “Rain or Shine, Hot or Cold” but may be rescheduled or paused for more significant weather.
Cancellation: All sales final – no cancellation, refund, or credit. An entry is transferable to another person for this event only and must be done by noon on the Tuesday prior for a Saturday event or noon on the Wednesday prior for a Sunday event. Sorry, you may not change or switch sessions once you register for a particular time slot. You may be able to add additional sessions in advance or trackside, please inquire
GET ON TRACK FAQ: these are 30min sessions of spirited touring laps between pace cars at highway speeds. Passing is not allowed. Helmets are not required. Rollbars are not required in convertibles. In-car instruction will not be provided. Sorry, you may not change or switch sessions once you register for a particular time slot. Please arrive at least 30min before the drivers meeting for your group.
Bonus Fun: the wet skidpad in the paddock will be open for registered drivers in tech inspected cars as an optional activity. Please don't park in/near the skidpad!
