2026 MiataCon at Lime Rock Park

Join Lime Rock Park and SCDA for MiataCon.  A special event dedicated to only MX-5 Miatas for a weekend of Racing, HPDE and lots of fun!

About the Event:

• Two Day Race and/or HPDE event Open to All eligible Miata/MX-5 cars
• *$20,000+ of contingency purse is up for grabs! (Lime Rock Park, SCDA Track Days, Piloti, Hoosier and Lime Rock Drivers Club)
• A Race Weekend Celebrating All MX-5 Generations
• 3-4 Sessions on Track per day 
• 4 Races over Two Days
• 1:15hr MiataCon Enduro available with a required stop and optional Driver change
• Exciting race format that rewards consistency and ultimate speed
• HPDE Group available for Experienced Non-Racers

The Sports Car Driving Association, LLC and Lime Rock Park are excited to host MiataCon, an all ALL MX-5 Race Weekend and HPDE!  Lime Rock Park is a 1.53 facility is a roller coaster ride that deserves its nickname as the Road Racing Center of the East. From the challenging uphill, to the fast 90 degree West Bend turn, to the exhilarating downhill turn - this track has it all. These events sell out quickly, and registration is handled on a first come, first serve basis. 

Sound Restrictions: Please note that cars will need to be MUFFLED to 88dB.  Please Note that all cars must be compliant.  

Car Chemistry inserts (usually helps reduce 2-5dbs)

2026 MiataCon: MX-5 CLASSES & RUN GROUPS (Please note that Classes may be regrouped based on entries):

• GROUP 1: Spec Miata. (only fully compliant Spec Miatas are eligible)
• GROUP 2: Open Exhibition NC/ ND:  Open Exhibition NC/ND MX-5 racecars  (open to racecars with an eligible logbook or certification, open tire rule) + LRDC Member's Race
• GROUP 3: Open Exhibition NA/ NB:  Open Exhibition NA/NB racecars (open to racecars with an eligible logbook or certification, open tire rule)
• MiataCon 75min Enduro: Open to All Racecar above (open tire rule)
• GROUP 4: HPDE MX-5 Miata: (Open all MX-5 Miata street cars and racecars meeting the sound and convertible rollbar requirements, drivers must have 15+ track days of experience.  Race license not required).  Option to drive one or both days.

NOTE: All racers must hold a valid competition license or waiver from SCDA. Examples of acceptable competition licenses are:  FIA, SCCA, NASA, BMWCCA, PCA, IMSA, SRO, USAC, NASCAR, etc...

Event Price:

MiataCon entry fees are $749 for Two-Day Race Groups

HPDE Group is $749 for both days or $439 per day.

OPTIONAL 1:15hr MiataCon Enduro and practice for registered drivers for only $149.  Co Drivers may be added for an additional $149

OPTIONAL Friday & Saturday MiataX on the FCP Proving Grounds
