Join SOVREN or Renew your Membership

Renewals need to be competed by February 28 to retain your car # (if car has raced within the last two seasons)

Please upload a current photo for your memberhip card.

All memberships will receive:

• One-year subscription to the Vintage Drift magazine (one per household)
• Email subscription to the monthly SOVREN Bulletin Board, and email notices
• SOVREN membership card (mailed in a green envelope)
• Free admission to all SOVREN races by presenting the membership card.  
• Each annual member will have Voting. privileges for E-Board positions, and may hold a position on the Board of Directors.
• Spouse/Partner and "in resident" children have no voting privileges and may not hold an elected position, 

Each Race Driver must have a valid membership in order to race with SOVREN. This can be accomplished with an Annual RACER membership, or a weekend membership as a GUEST. (A weekend Guest Membership is purchased when you register for each event.)

TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP

1. NON-RACER MEMBERSHIP  $50 ($50 + $2.50 online fee) - Non Racing individual.(Crew, Extended Family, Officials, Enthusiast, Retired drivers, etc.
   • All benefits listed above for all.
2. RACER MEMBERSHIP

There are two types of Racer Memberships. They both have the same benefits, the only difference is one has a SOVREN competition license.  

A. Racer Membership with a SOVREN Competition License.  $200.00 ($100 membership,+ 100 License + $10.30 online credit card fee) 

This Membership includes a SOVREN Competition License (Provisional, Full, or Advanced) and  is for those racers that have or request, a SOVREN Competition License. You must submit a completed Medical. A completed Medical form can be uploaded during this  membership process..Your membership must be current to have a valid license. A Provisional License will only be issued with proper instruction/experience and confirmed through our Novice Orientation Chairman.

• A one year SOVREN Competition License - 
  • SOVREN Licenses are valid for the calendar year,  and expires on 12/31/2024 OR on the date your medical expires, Which Ever Comes First. Renewal of an expired license in the middle of the year requires only a new medical form to be completed by your doctor and submitted, as long as your membership is current.

    Medical - When do you need a new physical:

18-35 years of age every five (5) years 
36-49 years of age every two (2) years
50-69 years of age every two (2) years
70 years of age and older, every thirteen (13) months

• Voting privileges for Competition Committee and Rules changes
• Can submit rule change proposals.
• No membership surcharges for races
• Reserved car number (if dues paid by Feb 28th), if number is available. (If previously reserved, the numbers remain yours if you have raced in 2021 or 2022 with a car with your number).
• Spouse/Partner and "in resident" children have no voting privileges.but are considered members. (Family members listed on your membership will not be counted as crew on your race entry

B. Racer Membership   $105 ($100 + $5 online fee) Individual racer, requires a valid competition license from a recognized sanctioning body (all VMC clubs, SCCA, ICSCC (including Canada), FIA, etc.)

• Voting privileges for Competition Committee and Rules changes
• Can submit rule change proposals.
• No membership surcharges for races
• Reserved car number (if dues paid by Feb 28th), if number is available. (If previously reserved, the numbers remain yours if you have raced in 2020 or 2021 with a car with your number).
• Spouse/Partner and "in resident" children have no voting privileges.but are considered members if listed and will not count toward your crew numbers.
• Plus those items above for all members

3. LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP  $1500 ($1500 + $75 online fee) :

• All the benefits listed as Racer Membership
