On Saturday, July 20 the Vermont Automobile Enthusiasts is hosting its 3rd "Porsche Day Cars & Coffee at the University Mall (UMall) on Dorset St., So. Burlington, Vt. from 7:00 – 9:00 am. Cars & Coffee has designated this event as Porsche Day and invites Green Mountain Region members to join in the event. Please mark your calendars and attend this event to help promote both initiatives.
Following C&C the Green Mountain Region Membership Chair, Brad Kennison, will host a tour from the UMall through beautiful countryside on some of Chittenden County's less traveled paved back roads. You will pass stately homes, working farms, a covered bridge, an organic berry farm (Last Resort Farm) and many small artisan businesses in out of the way places. The one hour thirty-minute tour will end at the Cold Hollow Cider Mill in Waterbury Center.
Once we arrive at Cold Hollow you will be treated to a short tour of the facility. After the tour you can then make your way over to the café for an a la carte lunch, enjoy hard cider in the tasting room, or browse the spacious retail store with displays from many Vermont artisans.
If you can't make C&C at 7 am come whenever so that you are present for the safety briefing at 9:30. The tour will begin following the safety briefing to vacate the mall no later than 10:00. Be sure to use the restrooms prior to the tour. No stops are planned until reaching our destination.
