About this event
Cars and Coffee at the Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit (VIMC)
Saturday September 16, 4:30 - 7 pm
You provide the cars, we provide the coffee.
This event is open to all members of the VIRPCA, with special attention given to members that have joined the club between September 1, 2022 to Aug 31, 2023. This special attention is in the form of a free, 15-minute Lead/Follow on the VIMC track for the first 40 NEW members to register.
Any of the 40 remaining places will be available to existing members for $25 each, with allocation based on registration date. If you pay for a $25 place and there are no free places on the day, we shall refund your $25 fee.
Choose your group, based on your comfort level:
- Novice: never done a track day or it was a very long time ago or would not like to go too fast.
- Intermediate: some recent track or autoslalom experience, or confident at a moderate pace.
- Advanced: a very confident driver with lots of track experience.
As this event takes place during dinner hours, we will have a brown bag-style meal: a variety of wraps, chips and sweets, available free for new members and $10 for existing members.
This event is a great opportunity for all VIR members to show off your Porsche. There is no charge if you are coming just to enjoy the cars, catch up with old friends and meet new ones. As we say, “It’s not just the cars, it’s the people”.
