About this event
Sunday July 25th 2021, 9am
Save the date and plan to join in the fun of our first Time Speed Distance (TSD) Rally of 2021 on Sunday 25th July, following a lower-island course.
This is the fifth of what was seen as a very enjoyable event last fall and is suitable for both two and four door Porsches. Our objective is to have fun and we have very experienced rally drivers/instructors to show us the way.
This is a team event where each car has a driver and a navigator, the driver and navigator may swap between rally legs. It will be a family friendly event on paved public roadways operating at/below posted speed limits. The rally will start near Duncan. There will be a number of short legs ("regularity stages"), allowing time to chat between and learn from our instructors led by rally enthusiast Klaus Kreye. If you have any questions or need help getting set up, please contact Klaus: firstname.lastname@example.org
The start point and Driver’s Meeting, will be outside the Tim Hortons, corner Bench Rd and HWY 1 just south of Duncan (kitty corner to the Co-Op Gas).
The event will end near Nanaimo – location to be advised.
Everyone MUST be present for the start of registration at 9am SHARP, with the Driver’s Meeting at 9:30, and Car Zero will depart at 10am.
As you will be timed when you pass certain check points along the route, removable numbers will be affixed to your car for the event. We have these decals specially made so that they will not damage the paint finish when removed. You might even want to name your team!
There is no cost to enter – but we are limited to around 20 cars. The Club is covering the cost of $40 per car!
