 40th YEAR! 

VARAC Vintage Grand Prix

Please plan to join us for the 40th running of the VARAC Vintage Grand Prix being held June 13-16, 2019 on the Mosport Grand Prix track at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

Classes include Vintage (pre 1962), Historic (pre 1973), Classic (pre 1999), and Formula Classic (monoposto race cars).  In addition, once again we will have the Toyo Tires F1600 Championship as our guests.

Thursday, June 13 is a Test Day.

Friday, June 14 the sessions are Practice in the morning and Qualifying in the afternoon.  The last on-track session will be the Open Wheeled Challenge - a fun run for all open-wheeled entries.  Friday evening is the Steam Whistle Paddock Tour - a roaming dinner party (free beer) for competitors, crew, volunteers and workers. 

Saturday June 15 we start racing.  At noon the Mini Meet North street cars will have parade laps and around 4:00pm the Horseless Carriage Club of America will be parading their pre-1916 cars.  The on-track activities finish with the MG-Triumph Challenge race, followed by dinner (cash bar) in the Conference Centre.  All competitors, crew, volunteers and workers are welcome.

Sunday, June 16 starts with more racing in the morning - the Vintage Volvo Racers will have their feature race just before lunch.  Opening Ceremonies at the Podium around noon and then feature races all afternoon.  The final session is the Vintage Grand Prix for all closed wheel cars under 2500 pounds.  Off track on Sunday, Fathers' Day, is the ever popular Field of Dreams Car Show and parade laps.
