Join us on Saturday, December 9th, for our Fun Run to Muscle Shoals, AL to tour the FAME and Muscle Shoals Sound music recording studios. The studios were made famous in the 1960’s and 1970’s when artists such as the Rolling Stones, Simon and Garfunkle, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and the Osmonds recorded some of their biggest hit records. We will meet the morning of December 9th in Athens and take some twisty roads to Muscle Shoals and have lunch at Sweet Peppers Deli next door to FAME before our tour. Judy Hood, the wife of one of the original “Swampers”, David Hood, will lead our tour.

WHEN: 9:00 AM, Depart 9:30 for Muscle Shoals
LUNCH: 11:15 Sweet Peppers Deli
TOUR START: 1:00 PM
COST: $30 per person.
