I do have a passion for what we are doing as a group of car enthusiasts and what we continue to create; a fun safe environment to learn, explore, coach and share our experiences. I am continually reminded that Audi Club Northwest is a community, a family, a safe haven. We gather not only to drive but to socialize with our ACNW family and to simply have fun. I love walking through the paddock on a Saturday afternoon and seeing all the conversations going on and the camaraderie. I’ve come to treasure the life experiences and generosity of everyone and I am always looking forward to our next event and the time I get to spend with my Audi family.

Over the last two years of my role on the ACNW Board I have seen the club deliver the 34th annual Audi Club Nationals which was a huge success. We welcomed the IndyCar series back to Portland after an 11-year absence, in addition to other social events we held. Add to that our various track events ranging from Drivers Skills, Autocross and HPDE. I have participated in almost every event whether in my official role as treasurer, as an event master or instructor for track events and for registration management. I am continually amazed by the way this community (family) comes together and delivers great experiences for our members and event participants.

This next year is a time to reflect on what we do well. I want to be a part of expanding our volunteers, empowering them to be involved at all levels along with continuing to expand our teen and women involvement. I ask for your vote so that I may continue to work with the Board of Trustees to continue building the spirit of the Club, leverage the strengths we already have and continue to build an even stronger community.

Thanks for your vote!

-Cris Brickey

2. Scott Haynes (Member 41530)

Over the last two years on the board I have met many great people and enjoyed being part of what goes on in the background. Hopefully, over the next two years I will meet more members and be able to continue the growth of the social program.

I am a lifelong lover of cars and racing. I have been involved in some sort of motorsport all of my adult life. Autocross, time trials and road racing (both karts and cars) are just a few of the racing activities I have been involved in. Besides going fast, I really enjoy being around cars and car people. I like to spend my spare time building and repairing cars or just hanging out and talking to people about them.

I have been involved with many automotive groups in a variety of positions. My involvement has included being a member of various groups, a board member of others, as high as President and Race Director for one of the local kart racing organizations. The only way I have found to enjoy automotive activities more than I already do has been to help other people enjoy it as much as I do.

I have enjoyed being part of the board and I am hoping that I can continue to share my love of motorsports and my automotive experience as a member of the ACNW board.

Thank you for your consideration.

-Scott Haynes

3. Pat Martin (Member 9373)

I have had the fantastic opportunity to spend time with many Audi Club Northwest members over the 20+ years I have been an ACNW member. Lifelong relationships have been established and I have had some unforgettable experiences. I have served on the ACNW board several times throughout the years and have found it to be a fun experience filled with personal growth and the satisfaction of seeing the club grow and thrive as a result of the dedication of volunteers who make the club operate. A few years ago I decided to take some time off the board to allow a new generation of leaders to mold the club into an even more cohesive and robust club than it has ever been. They succeeded, and I have watched from the sidelines as those hard working individuals did the hard work necessary to host another Audi Club North America Nationals, which by all accounts may be the best national event ever.

The effort necessary to host that event has stressed the volunteers that help run events at all the different levels. The club needs a year or two to catch it's breath and broaden the base of volunteers so that those that are already in place don't burn out; we don’t want to lose them forever. To that effort I would like to raise my hand to help take some of that load off and keep the ship running at a steady rate while we give the existing volunteers some time to recover from a few very busy years. I also want to continue to reach out to active enthusiast non-members and use the resources and infrastructure the club has built up over the years to get them involved. I hope to help the club expand on the types of events we run as well as get new people involved in running small pocket events.

I would appreciate your vote and hope that you all become involved in whatever way you can.

-Pat Martin

4. Kris Wegielewski (Member 31286)

In 2016, when Jim and I moved out West, we knew that we needed to find moto-heads like us. Little did we know that the ACNW would be that home.

Since joining Audi Club Northwest, I have attended nearly every board meeting to know what’s going on with the club. I volunteered in different capacities at many ACNW events. I have been a member of the registration team since the 2018 season launched and helped out with the planning and execution of Audi Club Nationals event. I am detail focused and bring organizational skills that will be useful to the new board. And I drive an Audi product in our track events, which *cough, cough*, is a bit rare in the current regime.

I would like to take an even more active role in our club and the board seems like a natural progression. Thank you for your vote!

-Kris Wegielewski
