Event Requirements

Registration closed September 27, 2018 11:59 PM at 2018-09-27T20:59:00-0700 Registration ends September 27, 2018 11:59 PM at 2018-09-27T20:59:00-0700 Registration opens August 10, 2018 12:00 AM at 2018-08-09T21:00:00-0700 Registration runs from August 10, 2018 12:00 AM to September 27, 2018 11:59 PM

We are conservatively estimating we will do approximately two inspections per hour.  There are fourteen pre-designated time slots for people to pre-register at a discounted rate of $15 for the inspection.  This will be non-refundable to ensure attendance.

We WILL accept walk-ups for tech inspections, but those who pre-registered will be given priority when their designated time approaches.  Walk-ups will be done on a first-come first serve basis at a cost of $20, and we will make any effort to work you in as quickly as possible.  Those with pre-designated times must be present 15 min prior to your scheduled time to check in with the ADIYG, turn over your keys, etc.

This is the in-depth pre-event tech inspection that TSCC requires for all HPDEs.  The tech inspection form is required to be filled out by someone qualified/experienced enough to perform the inspection.  We perform a more brief on-site tech inspection the day of our events, if your car does not pass you WILL NOT be permitted to run, filled out tech form or not.  YOU are ultimately the one responsible for ensuring your vehicle is safe.  For reference, the TSCC HPDE Supplemental Rules can be viewed/printed here.

If you are interested in having your car corner balanced as part of the Corner Weighting Class, we are looking for something that meets the following requirements:
  • Adjustable height coilovers at all 4 corners
  • All adjusters are free, not seized in place (please verify ahead of time!).. Be sure to bring your spanner wrenches as well!
  • Adjustment collars are relatively easily accessible... does not require removing a wheel for reasonable access, this would considerably slow down the class.
  • Camber already set where you want it.  After corner balancing, we will be rechecking camber and setting toe, but it needs to be basically in place before so that corner weighting occurs with the alignment already 95% there.
  • If you have sway bar(s), you must have adjustable end-links to avoid having pre-load on the bar once the corner heights are set.  Not an absolute must for teaching purposes, but your corner weighting will be wasted as soon as you bolt up your sway bars and introduce preload on the bar throwing the weights off.
