Volunteers Needed for our Work Party events

We need volunteers to help complete the many tasks required to run the North Star Raceway facility.  

Although the magnitude of some of the tasks to be completed can seem overwhelming at first, you will be surprised at how quickly things get done when there are lots of hands involved and how satisfying it can be for all the volunteers.

All tools and supplies are provided for the Work Party Event but if you have specialized tools that you are willing to share, please help out by bringing them along.  You are encouraged to bring safety items like work gloves and safety glasses. 

Friends and family can also volunteer to help you work off your Refundable Volunteer Fee and their hours will count alongside yours.

An Itemized Task List will be available from the event coordinator, Fred Causer

If you have a suggestion for a particular task to be completed, please contact the coordinator.

• The Work Party will start at 9 AM

The CKRC Work Party Coordinator reserves the right to set the final schedule or task assigned.

• Stormwater pond fencing
• Clockwise start gantry cross beam and brackets
• Finish crowsnest siding installation
• Spraying sea cans all the same colour
• Finish painting pre grid places
• Curb painting
• Painting new shifter grids on track
• Mow grass and trim around tire barriers
• Build garbage container fencing
• Stain picnic benches
• Install sliding glass on results board
• Tidy used tires into landscape bags
• Extension to turn 13 curbing
• Grass seeding and fertilizing
