Event Requirements

Registration closed November 1, 2019 11:59 PM at 2019-11-01T23:59:00-0700 Registration ends November 1, 2019 11:59 PM at 2019-11-01T23:59:00-0700 Registration opens September 22, 2019 12:00 AM at 2019-09-22T00:00:00-0700 Registration runs from September 22, 2019 12:00 AM to November 1, 2019 11:59 PM

Your car must be registered, you must be a licensed driver, 18 years of age or older, and you must be a BMW CCA member to be eligible for enrollment. (The Non-member registration fee includes a non-refundable one-year BMW CCA membership.)

Note: Attendance at a GGC Car Control Clinic is strongly recommended and is typically a prerequisite for first-timers who do not have previous high-performance driving experience. For this event, we may waive this requirement on a case-by-case basis if you are not able to attend a Car Control Clinic prior to the school.

CCC registration separate. On-line CCC registration is open now and is available here: msreg.com/ccc-oct-2019

Sign up for the CCC even if the event is waitlisted. Please indicate on the CCC registration form under "reason for attending" that you are registered for the November HPDS. The CCC staff will make every attempt to accommodate you. (Helmets are not required for the CCC.)

Snell (M or SA) 2010 or 2015 helmets are required for all track events. Snell 2005 helmets are now expired and no longer allowed.

If you would like to share a car with another student, please contact the Registrar by clicking the Host Details to the right before registering.

Convertibles and T-top cars must have 5-point/6-point belts and arm restraints, as well as an approved roll bar installed.  Factory "rollover protection" for a soft top (i.e. BMW Z3 and Z4, Porsche Boxster) is not sufficient for the school.  Convertibles with hard tops, including folding hard tops, are NOT ALLOWED. No exceptions.

Examples of cars NOT ALLOWED include: Firebirds and Camaros with T-tops or convertibles; any Corvette other than the Z06 coupe and the C7; Porsche convertibles and Targas.  The Lotus Elise, Corvette C7 and Acura NSX, while targa-style cars, ARE ALLOWED due to its structural design only if the hard roof panel is in place (the soft roof panel is not sufficient).  It is essential that you email us to discuss these issues well in advance if you plan to bring a convertible or T-top car.  We will not give refunds if you sign up with an ineligible car.

All cars that go on the track must pass a tech inspection before the event and the completed and signed Tech Form presented at event registration.

Cancellation policy: Any cancellations on or before 10/25/19 pay $50.00 (or $98 for non-members, who will receive a 1-year BMW CCA membership). Cancellations after 10/25/19 will not receive a refund or credit for any reason.

Please make sure to include or update your experience and your emergency contact info in your account when you register online.

Additional important information, a program overview, and the required GGC BMW CCA tech form are available at
