Driver Skills is a full-day course in the fundamentals of performance driving. You'll get lots of seat time, perfecting your technique on courses specifically designed to focus on these driving skills:
- looking ahead
- controlling weight transfer
- threshold braking
- throttle steer
- late-apex line
PNWR Instructors are there to provide valuable feedback on your performance after each run. The intensity level and focus on driving is high, but so is the fun level!
Entry fee is $55 with limited helmet rentals available for $30. (Helmet rental fee waived for those participants under 21 years of age.)
Event requirements
*Each entrant must have an account on file with MotorsportReg.com. You cannot piggyback on someone else's account*
Minor Information: Any entrant under 18, along with parents/guardians, must sign special Minor Waiver forms, to be returned to the registrar prior to the event. These forms will be emailed to you upon registration. One parent, or guardian, of the minor MUST be in attendance (not necessary to be a participant) at the event for him/her to attend.
Helmet rentals are available on a limited basis for a fee. (Fee will be waived for those participants under 21 years of age.) If supplying your own, the helmet must be Snell 2000, or higher, rated. Either SA or M will be accepted.
Open cars are allowed without roll bars, and no special pre-inspection is required.
