PCA Member DE at Coronado Speed Fest

Welcome PCA Members.  If you are not a PCA member you are on the wrong registration site.  Please go to pcasdr.motorsportreg.com and sign up on the DE Guest registration.

Porsche Club of America -- San Diego Region welcomes you to our first ever DE at Coronado/North Island in conjunction with the Coronado Historic Races!  Come on out and enjoy the fun at this historic event!  Visit our official website:  http://www.pcasdr.org/porsche_events/track_events/driversed/index.php

You must be a PCA member to register. Membership cards will be checked at Tech inspection.

To register we also require that you join our group here on MotorsportReg.com.   This will be done as a step in the registration process. 

 Late Registration: Early Bird registration is 7/24 - 8/31.  Regular registration is 9/1 to 9/11.  Late registration is 9/12 to 9/21. The online registration deadline is midnight, 9/21/09.  There will be no offline registration.  There will be no later registration unless a cancellation occurs and you are on the waitlist.

Payment:  NEW - You MUST use a credit card to pay if registering online (VISA or MasterCard only).   PLEASE NOTE:  All registrations up to 9/11 will be charged on 9/11/09.  After that, your credit card will be charged when you register.  Refunds will be given only if we are able to fill your spot from the waitlist; otherwise your entry fee will be forfeited.  A 5% administration fee will be deducted from all refunds.

Please note: Your account can only be used to register yourself!  Every entrant, including a co-driver, needs their own MotorsportReg.com account.

REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION:

- Prior experience:  Participants without a Zone 8 competition permit (or approved equivalent) must have completed at least 8 Autocrosses and/or Driver Education and/or Driving School days or equivalent over the past 9 to 18 months.  If you do not have a competition permit, you must purchase a Zone 8 log book. 

- 18 years of age

- Fire extinguisher with metal band

- Long sleeve shirt and pants

- Helmet SA2000 or better

All entrants must present a completed Tech Inspection form to the tech inspectors.  It can be found at:  www.pcasdr.org/img/pdf/general/axregform.pdf.  

Immediately after tech inspection, turn in your completed Tech Inspection form at the table at the front of the tech line to receive your run-group sticker and wristband.

If there are any changes to your registration data after the online registration deadline, you need to check in with registration on the day of the event.  Otherwise, you do NOT need to check in with registration.

All novice drivers will be required to have an instructor.  Drivers new to SDR events may also be required to have an instructor until competency has been demonstrated.

All entrants and guests will be required to sign a the PCA waiver upon entering.
