Town Fair Tire in Danvers, MA is sponsoring NAAC's first winter tire seminar on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 starting at 7 PM.
Experts will provide information on the
- Benefits of winter (snow) tires vs all-season radials
- Speed rating tradeoffs
- Minus sizing (narrow tires for winter use)
- Specific wheel / tire fitment specifics on a car by car basis as requested
- "Legal" requirements regarding tire pressure monitoring systems.
Remember that all-wheel drive systems including the famed "Quattro" do little more than help you go. Stopping and turning is largely the work of your tires and of course your own skills.
Registration is free, but due to space, the seminar is limited to the first 25 participants so we need you to signup on Motorsportreg.com to reserve your place.
After the seminar, which is expected to last 1 - 1.5 hours we will continue with a social event at Buffalo Wild Wings across the street at the Liberty Tree Mall.
