Please join the Carolinas Section of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America at 1:00 PM (EST) on Saturday, August 1, 2020 for our first-ever virtual event.The presentation, entitled, “The W124 and W210 E-Class Cars: Two ‘Young-timer’ Classics Worth a Second Look,” will provide information about the history and design of these vehicles and knowledge about owning them. Our board member, Frank Towson, will give the presentation using Zoom on the W124 and W210 E-Class cars, which were produced from 1985 to 1995, and 1996 to 2002 respectively.
This presentation will cover the coveted 500E of the W124 chassis, the underappreciated E55 AMG of the W210 chassis, and all of the other models in between. All members should walk away with a greater appreciation of these vehicles, and a better understanding of what to look for when purchasing one.

We may record this event, so be aware that your voice and potentially image may be recorded.
The session will start at 1:00 a.m. EDT and will conclude around 3:00 pm EDT and will be conducted via Zoom Video Teleconference. No NEED to leave your home. You can easily join the ZOOM meeting by computer, iPhone, iPad, Android device, or by telephone.
IMPORTANT ZOOM VTC SECURITY NOTE: The organizers are well aware of security issues that have been brought to light over the last several months concerning ZOOM VTCs. ZOOM has implemented many security fixes over the last several weeks and we have instituted a number of security precautions, which include a set of ground rules that will be covered at the start of the presentation. As these ground rules constitute part of our security system, it is important to follow them.
It would be best to download the Zoom app beforehand to simplify connection. We’ll plan to have the VTC up by 12:45 p.m. EDT so we can hopefully get any technical issues out of the way. Please be on time, as we do not expect to be able to admit participants to the event after the 1 p.m. EDT start time.
