Time to go play again! Maverick PCA is presenting a Driver Education at Motorsport Ranch in Cresson on September 23 and 24. We're running the 3.1 mile course counter clockwise. We're in need of full staffing - corner workers, control, grid and gate. At the past few events, we've had a minimal number of workers so the club is trying to develop a larger pool to invite. First, if any of you have friends that might be interested, please give me their email addresses and I'll send them an invitation. Second, the club is going to begin offering a work/drive program. Drivers can sign up to work one event in exchange for driving at some future event. These people will be paired with an experienced corner worker until we feel they are sufficiently trained to handle a corner on their own.
Good looking cars, pay, lunch, refreshments - standard stuff. What's not to love?
Event requirements
We're scheduled to run the 3.1 mile course. We may need as many as 24 corner workers plus Control, Gate and Grid. Please sign up as early as possible so I can get all the assignments made early.
I will periodically (every few days) acknowledge those who have applied. I will set the roster early the week of September 18 and will let folks know either way. I will accommodate novices as best I can based on having experienced folks to do training while staffing a safe track.
