Workers Maverick DE October 20, 21

Motorsport Ranch - Cresson

About this event

Time to go play again! Maverick PCA is presenting a Driver Education at Motorsport Ranch in Cresson on October 20 and 21.  We're running the 1.7 mile course counter clockwise.  We need a maximum of 10 workers, including corner workers, control, and grid, so please sign up early.  We can use one or two more as trainees or work/drive program.  Thanks in advance for helping develop new workers.

As we did at the September event, waiver signatures will be signed at the driver registration desk, so we won't have a gate person. I've not been very good about making all of you workers sign, so I intend to do that at our 7:15 meeting at the tower.

The club is trying something new at this event to try and get more novice greens to get involved and to attract drivers that can't commit to a full weekend at the track.  Saturday will be just for Green and Blue drivers and will be focused on car clinic type stuff.  I'm not sure where they'll want us to be stationed, so we'll have to be flexible.  Sunday will be for just Yellow, White and Red and we'll work the normal stations.

Good  looking cars, pay, lunch, refreshments - standard stuff. What's not to love?

Event requirements

We're scheduled to run the 1.7 mile course.  We need a minimum of 18 and a maximum of 24 workers, including Control, Gate and Grid. Please sign up as early as possible so I can get all the assignments made early.

I will periodically acknowledge those who have applied. I will set the roster early the week of September 18 and will let you know your position assignment. I will accommodate novices as best I can based on having experienced folks to do training while staffing a safe track.
