About this event

CMP Karting is excited to announce our 2026 Winter Rental Karting League!

The league features 20 drivers, split into two weight classes, racing for points across 4 rounds.

Round 1: Saturday, January 10th
Round 2: Saturday, January 17th
Round 3: Saturday, January 24th
Round 4: Saturday, January 31st (Awards following the races)

Each round will consist of 3 races

Race 1 (8-minute race): Position on grid randomly selected. The closer to P1 finish, the higher the points received. Karts are randomly assigned.
Race 2 (8-minute race): Grid position reverse order of Race 1. The closer to P1 finish, the higher the points received. Karts are randomly assigned.
Race 3 (12-minute race): Grid position based on total points received from first two races. The higher the points, the closer to P1. Karts are randomly assigned.

Cost: $325 - Entire season registration
Includes driver entry, rental kart, and rental safety gear.
Drivers must register for entire season.

Weight Divisions:

Weight divisions will be based on registrations. We will split the total 20 drivers into two weight classes - light division / heavy division.

Event Schedule:

11:00AM - 11:45AM: Check-In
11:45AM Mandatory Driver's Meeting
12:00PM - 2:00PM: Track Time

Championship Prizes (each division):

-1st place: 5 Session Credits + Medal + Social Media Post
-2nd place: 3 Session Credits + Medal + Social Media Post
-3rd place: 1 Session Credit + Medal + Social Media Post

Single round prizes (each division):

-1st place: 3 Session Credits

*Awarded session credits may not be transferred to any other account

Event requirements

- Drivers must be 18 years old+ with a valid driver's license.
- Drivers must wear closed-toed shoes (no crocs, even in sport mode)

Safety gear is provided, but drivers may bring their own. Must have full-face helmet (DOT or Snell within 10 years) and neck brace.

Karts are randomly assigned. We will do our best to maintain balance between karts, and to maintain fairness we will not accept kart requests or kart swaps. Karts will only be swapped if there is a confirmed issue with kart.
If you end up with a kart you don't agree with, do not worry! We will be dropping each driver's 2 lowest races.
