Wine Pairing Rally

Sonoma County

About this event

Redwood Region PCA presents the

Wine Pairing Rally

A gimmick rally on Saturday April 23, 2022

This event is open to all, regardless of PCA membership or car driven.  The start is in Graton and the finish is in Windsor. All roads are paved.  The rally is about 66 miles long, and about 3 hours.

Rallymaster and past president Craig Steele (The Picture Perfect Rally) returns with a new gimmick rally featuring the back roads of the Sonoma County wine country.  All roads on this 66 mile event are paved and in good condition.

This is a great event for beginners, with beautiful roads, easy-to-follow directions, and no pressure to arrive at controls exactly on time.

The scenario is that a food and wine critic has identified various foods that he feels would pair well with different Sonoma wineries.  Your job is to follow the prescribed route, identify the wineries in the correct sequence, and enter the corresponding food names on your score card.

There are no classes or car requirements.  Awards will be presented to the top three cars.

Both the driver and navigator must register and complete the online speed waiver prior to the close of registration on Sunday April 17th.  The cost is $25 per car for PCA members and $30 per car for non-members.  Only one occupant needs to be a PCA member to qualify for the lower entry fee..

For further information please contact Rallymaster Craig Steele at casteele@sonic.net or Rally Director Jim Robison at jim_robison@comcast.net.
