The Wheels of Color Automotive Gathering and 996 Gathering, has been designed as an annual recurring national premiere car show featuring classics, exotic, vintage and collector cars who’s common thread is the theme of the show, which is a beautiful display of factory paint colored automobiles.

This theme is unique in the car show world. It is our intention to keep the attendance at a very high quality of entries and to not approve any attempted registrations for hot rods, trucks, motorcycles, custom paint jobs or cars that have been vinyl wrapped, Race cars are exempt from this requirement. We expect to host cars from Ford, GM, Chrysler, and other domestics and a large presentation of import cars from Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Audi, Mercedes, Jaguar, Lotus, and others foreign brands as all of these brands have had colors that are both enduring and beautiful.

We have chosen the town of Sebring to host our annual event due to its central Florida location and ease of travel to Sebring from the north, south, east and west. We invite enthusiasts to join us from near and far as Sebring has numerous hotel locations which support the 12 Hours of Sebring race each March. We are working on getting block rates for a number of these hotels. We will be announcing additional special features of our event, possibly including a visit to the raceway, the Friday before the event.

We have chosen the Saturday after Thanksgiving as our annual event date this allows our participants to enjoy Thanksgiving turkey with the family, allow travel if necessary on Friday and a return travel day on the Sunday after our Saturday event. The weather in November in Central Florida is usually great for outdoor events not to hot and not to cool. So plan to bring that car of yours that has brought you so much joy just looking at it, we definitely invite our friends with black cars as "you can have any color as long as it's black" has no place at our fun event in fact we have designed a special recognition factor for our black car attendees. So come one, come all, just bring your rose colored glasses or any other color of choice

Plan on visiting the areas around the event that weekend including the downtown Sebring circle which was recently featured on HGTV Home Town Takeover series. There are great restaurants, shops, a nice shaded park, and of course the famous Soda Shop. Sebring has a great historic racing history now you and you car can help develop the areas car culture today and for the future.
