Welcome back!
New year, new venue, new schedule. Things will be changing a bit, so please read through to make sure you're up to speed.

Important: Waivers
The CACC, and thus VMSC has changed to an online annual waiver form.
Drivers and guests will be required to fill out the online Speedwaiver prior to entry - Please complete the form in advance and save, screenshot, or print your proof of waiver to present it at the gate.

Any drivers with a current 2023 CACC issued license (Race, Autoslalom, Officials, etc) will have already completed the annual waiver, and showing that CACC license is adequate proof of completion.
A separate VIMC waiver will also need to be completed in person at the track

SCHEDULE
09:30 - Gates open for registration and tech. Competitors will show their driver's license, turn in their self tech, show proof of waiver as they enter the track.
09:40 - Course open for walking
10:30 - Novice Meeting
10:40 - Drivers meeting
11:00 - Track goes hot.
15:00 - Track goes cold. Actual time may vary.
VMSC uses a self-tech sheet that will need to be filled out for each event. It can be found HERE. This self-tech form will need to be filled out, printed and signed before you enter the track and will be collected from you at the gate.
REGISTRATION
2023 VMSC club memberships are available HERE via MotorsportReg.
Current VMSC members in good standing can register for this event. 2023 Memberships are available and must be completed prior to registration. All registrants will be held and reviewed before being processed. You will get an email when you are confirmed and your card charged. Co-Drives are allowed. If registration reaches capacity, a waitlist will be started. Entries under 19 years of age must complete a minor waiver. Novice and Learners licences are accepted, all L drivers are required to have a senior driver ride as passenger.
GUEST POLICY
Paid entries are welcome to bring guest(s) with them. The driver will be responsible for the conduct of their guest during the event. All guests will be required to sign both the online Speedwaiver and the VIMC waiver. Guests under 19 are required to have a completed Minor Waiver, and nobody under the age of 14 is permitted as a passenger or within the competition area.
The upper viewing lounge will not be open for these events, so general spectators will be turned away if they aren't attached to a paid entry.
Pets are not permitted on the property!
Please have your self tech sheet ready and properly filled out before the event. Self tech forms must be filled out and dated for each event. All entrants are responsible for the correct classification of their car. Consult the SCCA SOLO rule book for classification.
We use visible numbers as part of our timing system - Please bring tape, a window marker, or printed decals to identify your car.

REGISTRATION NOTES
Registration is available exclusively on line via MSR, there will be no day-of registration.
Club loaner helmets are not available at this time. You will not be allowed to run without the proper helmet, please bring your own. VIMC will have rental helmets available for a fee. See below for helmet requirements.
This event is capped at 50 cars.
We are running under 2022 CACC Rules and cars are classified by 2022 SCCA Solo Rules.
Please have your self-tech/waiver sheet ready and properly filled out before the event. All entrants are responsible for the correct classification of their car.

Members $95
A CACC License is not required for club events.
NOTICES
All participants must fill out and sign the self tech form, online Speedwaiver, and VIMC waiver.
All drivers must present a valid driver's license.
Wheels/tires to be used during the event must be installed on the vehicle prior to inspection.
Please keep noise levels to a minimum and observe all posted speed limits when traveling to and from the track.
Vancouver Island Motorsports Circuit regulations limit noise levels on all cars to 95 dB A. Sound meters are installed at multiple locations to at all events to observe limits.
Loaner helmets will not be available at this event. Rentals will be available from VIMC.
Helmets must bear one of the following certifications:
Snell 2010 / 2015 / 2020 (M or SA) certification label.
ECE R22.05
SFI 31.1/2015
FIA 8860-2010 or 8859-2015
