About this event
Come join NNJR for three great days at the Virginia International Raceway, this is one of the premier events on the PCA DE calendar. NNJR has the largest and longest-running HPDE program in North America, this is our 53nd year of Safe, Serious, Fun. We will drive the full course all three days, open to all drivers and all marques except open-wheeled cars. Non-PCA welcome. Plenty of track time is on store with four ~30 min runs per day. There will be refreshments on Saturday night which is included in the price.
No refunds will be issued after October 13. No event credits will be issued after October 20. You will need a MotorsportReg account to register. If you don’t have one, you can create one at any time. Just go back to the previous main page and click on the “Create Account” tab above the event list. Then return to our main page to register.
Some groups are starting to waitlist. There will be cancellations the closer we get to the event and we will do our best to accommodate everyone on a first-come, first-served basis. Do not register for another group if your initial group/registration is wait-listed. For students, we want to make sure we have enough instructors before letting everyone in. The earlier you sign up, the better chance you have. With few exceptions, everyone who registers on Day 1 eventually gets accepted, just be patient. If you are wait-listed, please check your status frequently, as the Registrar will move you off of the wait list as spots open up. This is especially true for instructed groups as we can add additional students after additional instructors register. This event always sells out quickly. If you need to cancel from the event, you must do so on-line in your account.
IMPORTANT – Occupants in a race-prepared car must wear a one-piece SFI- or FIA-rated driver’s suit with a minimum of two layers. Any car that has had the interior modified/removed to accept a full cage install or is no longer street legal. Basically this applies to race cars and track dedicated build cars with the interior removed. The person with a slightly modified bolt-in cage with performance upgrades is not the primary concern. VIR has had this rule for the past few years; it has not been previously enforced, but could be at any time. Each driver is responsible for compliance.
If you haven’t already opted in to receive event text messages from NNJR, please consider doing so at the end of the registration application. Note that in contrast to many organizations, our only use of this service is to send critical communications at the track e.g., schedule changes. With a very large paddock at VIR, the PA cannot always be heard. You can opt out at any time.
For on-site garage and lodging, please contact the track directly.
