About this event
Cones For A Cause: Racing for a Great Reason!
Get ready to start your engines for our most meaningful event of the summer! On Saturday, July 18th, we are taking over the Clarenville Events Centre for Cones For A Cause. This special charity event is all about combining our passion for precision driving with the spirit of giving back to the community we love.
All proceeds from this event will go directly to the Discovery Health Care Foundation, supporting vital healthcare services and equipment for the region. Let’s come together to show that the motorsport community has as much heart as it does horsepower!

Driver Requirements & Community Spirit
To keep our events safe, fun, and running like a well-oiled machine, please ensure you meet the following requirements before hitting the track:
-
Licensing: All drivers must hold a valid Class 5 driver's license to participate. Please double check that yours is current before you head to the arena!
-
Registration: We rely on our amazing community to make these events happen. Because we need a specific number of people to operate the event safely, online registration is mandatory.
-
The Vinland Way (Setup & Teardown): Autocross is a team effort! We ask that all participants arrive early to help us get the course and equipment ready for action. Staying after the final run to help with course clean-up is also a huge part of being a club member. Many hands make light work and get us all home sooner!
-
Safety Gear: Protecting your head is the most important part of the day. Please ensure your helmet meets the standards listed below. If you have any doubts about your gear, don't hesitate to reach out to us at info@vinland.ca or send us a message on social media. We are always happy to help you get tech-ready!
