About this event
Drift Night is a unique program presented by Utah Motorsports Campus that allows thrill-seekers and adrenaline junkies to drift their personal cars, sit right seat for a wild ride with an instructor or learn how to drift with a professional driver. All of these options are available to anyone 18 years and older with a valid driver's license. Drift rides are available for anyone 16 years and older (MUST have proper parental consent). No previous racing or on-track experience required. So bring your friends or ride solo, come out and get SIDEWAYS!!!
Drift Ride-A-Long (Single Ride) $10
Ride right- seat with a professional drifter as they get sideways and vaporize some tires. Cars are released onto a strategically planned course, sometimes solo, but sometimes you will run alongside other cars.
Drift Skid Car with Top Drift $25
A professional instructor will teach or improve your low-traction driving skills in a customized skid car that allows you to perform a controlled slide. Drivers will test their skills at drifting in a circle while being scored by unique equipment.
Drift Experience (Bring your own car) $65
Run unlimited laps on our drift course, or until your tires disintegrate! Previous experience is required.
Drift Plus (One on One Instruction) $80
If you've ever dreamed of drifting, come out and experience Drift Plus. Drift Plus gives you 30 minutes of one-on-one instruction running through different exercises with a drifting professional sitting right seat. In the first phase of Drift Plus, you can either use your own car or rent one to run through the basics of drifting, and then work on transitions. In the second phase of Drift Plus, an instructor will teach or improve your low-traction driving skills in a customized skid car that allows you to perform a controlled slide. Drivers will test their skills at drifting in a circle while being scored by unique equipment. For more experienced drifters, instructors will focus on more advanced techniques. Drift Plus offers something for everyone, no matter your experience level! Drift Plus does NOT include a drift ride; that is a separate product you may add during check-in.
- Sessions will start every half-hour beginning at 5:30pm, ending at 9pm
- Seven sessions available: 5:30pm, 6pm, 6:30pm, 7pm, 7:30pm, 8pm, 8:30pm
- 1 student per session; no passengers.
Drift Extreme (Drift Plus and Drift Experience combined) $120
The best of both worlds: this is the hot ticket for experienced drifters who want to take their skills to the next level.
Car Rental $50
Don't want to use your car? No problem; we'll rent you one!
(Only available for one-on-one instruction)
Helmet Rental $25
Need a helmet? UMC has helmets available for rent, sizes S-XL.
(Additional fee will be charged if helmet is not returned)

- Check-in: Mountain Suites between 4:30-5pm to receive your wrist band. Registration closes at 7pm.
- Rides will start at 5:30pm in our West Paddock
- Minors must have proper parental consent form filled out or have parent on-site for the event.

Drift Experience

- Self Tech Inspection Form: Must be fill out and brought to registration in order to receive your wrist band and tech sticker. See Below.
- Tech sticker, must be put on your windshield, driver side top corner.
Drift Plus
- Check-in: Mountain Suites between 4:30-5pm to receive your wrist band, tech sticker and run time. Registration closes at 7pm.
- Sessions start promptly at 5:30pm, and run until 9pm in our Midway.

Tech Inspection
Drift Plus and Drift Experience will be a self-tech event. Participants are required to download the Tech Form, fill it out and turn it in on the day of your event. Safety is our highest priority, and it should be yours too. You are responsible to ensure that your car is safe for the sake of yourself and other participants.

Helmets
All UMC participants are required to wear an approved helmet while participating in the event.
Car helmets (SA) must have DOT/SNELL ratings. Helmets cannot be older than 2010. Dirt bike/Motorcycle helmets (M) will not be allowed. (The SA standard requires a flammability test; the M standard does not.) If you do not have a helmet, you can rent one from us.
Convertibles
Convertibles are prohibited, unless they are equipped with factory-installed rollover protection or approved aftermarket rollover protection.
Other Rules and Regulations
All participants MUST wear a helmet
Drones or any kind of airborne photo/video platforms or machines are not allowed
No passengers allowed
Open to all licensed drivers
Participants are required to wear closed-toe shoes
Standing on wall is not allowed
Drivers are responsible for any damage to UMC property
Drivers understand that they assume the risk for any damage they may cause to their vehicle
***Minors are required to have parents accompany them to the event to fill out the Minor Waver Form, OR print out the form online and have your parents get the document notarized***

Required Safety Meeting for Drift Plus and Drift Experience participants
Event begins at 5:30pm.
**All participants are required to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to their session start time in order to receive the proper wristband and sticker for the event. Safety meeting attendance is mandatory. Safety meetings start 30 minutes prior to event time. UMC reserves the right to refuse drift time to anyone at its discretion. Participants who are deemed to be unsafe drifting and/or fail to follow event rules will be asked to leave and will forfeit their entry fee.**
