End of Summer Auto-X September 8th (Best Friend Budget Break)

The leaves are changing colour, there is fog in the early morning again and the turbochargers have that nice cold air to breathe. Yep its the end of the summer so lets make the last event of the summer a great one! We are always looking for ways to bring the rush and excitement (as well as crucial car handling skills) auto-X gives to new members so we have created the Best Friends Budget Break. For this event only, we will be offering a $10 cash back-in-your-hand for referring a brand new auto-xer (someone who has never driven at an event with UBCSCC before August 25th 2013, in their life!) yes this means that if your friend has only done the last team enduro, august 25th 2013, they can still be referred as a new driver and you get $10 back! It would be nice to share the money with them or maybe buy them lunch or something though :) To refer a driver, have the new driver write in the referrer's name during registration in motorsport reg so we can keep track of all the new people! One person may receive up to 4 new driver referrals for this event giving them a total of $40 back! Its going to be a great event to start up the fall season and to get everyone ready for the upcoming slush series as well so we hope to see lots of familiar faces as well as lots of new people coming out!

Please note that this event is capped at 80 drivers plus exec team members. Pre-registration via Motorsportsreg is mandatory. As outlined in the supplemental regulations, there will be no cancellations/refunds or driver substitutions - if you are not sure you can attend, please do not pre-register.

There is absolutely ZERO TOLERANCE for any burnouts, reckless driving, or loud stereos on Ford Road at any time. Anyone caught breaking this rule will be immediately, and permanently, banned from all 3 local autocross clubs without warning. Registration check-in closes at 8:45am sharp, please show up by 8:00 to do a course walk and have your car tech inspected.

Please ensure you bring your vehicle to a complete stop and look both directions at the break in the fence in the driveway, to ensure no planes are approaching.
