Trip to The Ingram Collection

Please join us for a trip to North Carolina to tour the world renowned Ingram Collection of Porsches in Durham and the Road Scholars restoration facility.

Here's the plan:

• Friday
  • Our headquarters hotel will be the Aloft Durham Downtown, in the hip Tobacco District of Durham and less than a mile from the Ingram Collection.
  • We'll start the weekend with happy hour at 5PM at Tyler's Restaurant and Taproom, 324 Blackwell St, a mere 170 feet from the Aloft Hotel. FSR will provide some apps during happy hour.
• Saturday
  • Breakfast will be on your own, but we'll meet in the lobby at 9:15 for the drivers' meeting waiver signing.
  • We'll depart at 9:30AM for a tour of the Road Scholars Porsche restoration/service facility at 10AM (after the tour, our box lunches will be delivered to us)
  • Depart after the tour for a short rural drive to Jordan Lake Park, where we'll have a shelter reserved for our picnic lunch, then head back to the hotel on your own.
  • We'll gather in the Aloft Hotel lobby at 4:30PM for the .7 mile walk to the Ingram Porsche Collection, which will include beer/wine and light hors d'oeuvres. We'll walk back to the Tobacco District at 7:15
  • Dinner at the Tobacco Road Sports Cafe overlooking the Durham Bulls Athletic Park at 7:45PM
• Sunday
  • Breakfast will be on your own, as will the drive home.  
    
    
               

Accommodations:

We have a block of rooms at a rate of $139 per night, plus tax at the new Aloft Durham Downtown hotel. (+$10 for parking per day).  This rate is available for rooms on Friday and Saturday night.  Reservations can be made directly with the hotel, 866-716-8133.  You must request the "Porsche Club Room Block" to get the special rate.  Or, go to this direct link to book your room online at the block rate:

The block is now closed.  If you're registered for the event and forgot to book a room, email the registrar and we'll see what we can do. 

Breakfast is not included in the room rate.

Breakfasts/Brunch - on your own / pay as you go
Tour of Road Scholars - N/C
Saturday box lunch - $10
Tour of the Ingram Collection - $40
Saturday night dinner - $30
Registration is a la carte, you can register for whichever events you choose, arrive Friday or Saturday, or not even spend the night... it's your choice.

This event is limited to 60 people due to tour size limitations.
