Registration:  Be sure to complete Registration.  The final registration page has Event Receipt at the top of it.  You should also receive an email stating you are registered.  Lastly, we highly recommend you check the attendance page to make sure your name is on it.  If it is not, then you are not registered and need to try again.

Directions:  Must enter through the Main Gate.  The Guards will likely give you a placard for the Autox.  On the back of that is a map to the event site.  Just in case, once on base continue on the main road until you pass the flightline (hard to miss no trees speed limit picks up and there is a sign).  Just past flightline there is a stop light, turn right and it is your last right just after Duffy Road and before the T intersection at end of the road.  There is usually a sign at the stoplight and just before the turn in to the flight line that say AUTO-X and an arrow.

Non-Drivers: Sign up as Non Driver Status on the checkout page.  Cherry Point does not care how you are participating in the event, they want the same information.  This information is collected through our registration system so that is why you sign up to be on site, the way you do.  There is NO fee associated with the Non Driver Status, and it is free.

Novice School: Students will learn about the event, the format, how to work the different worker stations at an event, teching of cars,numbering of cars, course walking, reading the course, just about everything you need to know to be a good autocrosser. On top of that you will get a LOT of seat time with an instructor to help you. Then in the afternoon students will be able to put what they learned to the test in our afternoon points event. To sign up for the Novice School use the Novice School registration fee option on the next page. Novices will be able to participate in school and afternoon points event by paying just the $35 Novice School fee. The school will be limited to 24 entries but if there are more novices that wish to participate please register using one of the regular registration fees and sign up for the event in Novice class. They will be put on a standby list and they will still be able to run during the afternoon points event.

Instructors: We need volunteers to be instructors for our Novice School. Anybody the wishes to volunteer please sign up for the event as normal and email the registrar (ncraxreg@gmail.com) that you wish to help instruct. Instructors will be be able to run the afternoon points event for free and still be able to use the Sunday discount tomorrow.

Online pre-registration for SCCA members and non-members without base access will close on April 19th at Midnight. This is to ensure that the information needed for processing onto base is given to base officials with time to spare. Once registration has closed we will not be able to add your name and information to the registration list.  We collect online payment information but do not charge for the event until the morning of the event.  This means there is no charge to register until you show up to drive.  If you are even thinking of attending the event we recommend that you pre-register to get your name on the list.  To guarantee your spot, Pre-register! We cannot guarantee access to base if we do not have your information in time.

Drivers must be 16 years of age and hold a valid drivers license. Drivers under 18 years of age must fill out the minor waivers. All vehicles must pass a technical inspection and helmets must be SNELL 2010 or newer. Loaner helmets are available.

Classing: Car classing is up to the driver.  To help with this a copy of the SCCA Solo (Autocross) Rule Book can be found here.
This year we will be using the 2022 SCCA car classing and a few special classes: 

Pro: Drivers in this class will perform the same number of runs as every class but only the first three runs will count toward their PAX position for the event. This class will be indexed by the current PAX factors.

Raw Time(RT): Any driver may run in Raw Time Class. This class is not indexed and has no pax. Drivers in this class will have the time for all of their runs added together and the lowest total time will win the event. Each cone penalty will add 4 seconds to the driver’s run and DNF will add 10 seconds to the driver’s run.

Send It!(SI): This class is run what you built kind of class, if it passes safety inspection and has greater than 250 Treadwear Tires (i.e. 300, 400, 500, etc) - Send It!. This class is a raw time for bragging rights type competition. This class will only have Day of Event Awards.

Class and number must be displayed on both sides of the car and be legible at a distance.  We do not supply numbers or tape for drivers.  If you use painters tape be sure it is a contrasting color to your car.

We will be strictly sticking to the schedule to ensure everybody can receive 4 runs in the afternoon.

Instructors will be able to attend the afternoon points event for free

Points Event Entry Fees

Entry fees for people attending only the afternoon points event will be the following:

Attendees will receive $25 off the Sunday event if they attend both days.

NOTE! Attendees with base access can register On-site but the $10 Day of Event Registration fee will be strictly enforced this year!!! Be sure to pre-register early to guarantee your spot!!!

• All participants must sign a SCCA Release and Waiver form onsite.

• Minors (under age 18) MUST complete both the Annual Waiver Minor and Annual Waiver Minor Parental Consent forms Online before the event. To access the waivers BOTH parents and the minor must each sign into my.scca.com (Non-SCCA members can create free guest accounts). Once logged in go to the Online Store and under “Licenses and Waivers” are the Annual Waiver Minor and Annual Waiver Minor Parental Consent. Once BOTH parents and the minor have each filled out the forms please email the registrar (ncraxreg@gmail.com) so we can confirm the waivers are approved and insure there will be no issue the day of the event.

  
  The SCCA wants the minor waivers filled out online but we will have paper copies available at the event. BOTH parents must attend the event to sign the waivers.
