About this event
Hello Everyone - The Lethbridge Sports Car Club is pleased to announce our first track day in a very long time. How long? We don't actually know! We're heading to Leduc, AB to enjoy the Strawberry Creek Raceway. Book early - there are limited spaces available. Given the cost of booking the venue - REGISTRATIONS ARE NOT RUFUNDABLE.
The RULES are:
VEHICLE / SAFETY REQUIREMENTS - this event is for 4 wheeled cars - you MUST sign a waiver with Strawberry Creek raceway on the day. - SA2010 or SNELL2010 or newer helmet to be worn at all times on track. - 3 point OEM seatbelt or 5 point race harness in good condition must be used. - if the track is wet, you need to have a minimum of one rear red light (stock running lights, or a rain light ) - 97 decibel sound limit. No loose items in vehicle when on track. - in car fire extinguisher and fireproof race suit are recommended, but not required.
SCHEDULE:
Mandatory! drivers meeting is at 10:30 am .. you can arrive from 9:00 am onwards. - Track time will be open lapping from 11am - 5pm. - Pit area and drivers meeting will be by the Shop ( building closest to the end of the driveway)
OTHER THINGS
- This is a private event.
- Strawberry Creek Raceway is on google maps and apple maps for directions (https://www.google.com/maps/place/Strawberry+Creek+Raceway/@53.3452301,-114.1593093,15z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x0:0xc77fd75b362ca371?sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjBhc3C1pP2AhXDFjQIHXQ0BuEQ_BJ6BAgxEAU).
- Please keep speed low (mid revs 2nd gear) when not on track.
- If it rains, the event is still happening.
- There will be no food or drinks available, please bring what you need.
- Please be kind to their neighbors by sticking to the speed limit and giving other vehicles lots of space on the roads to the track.
- We are only allowing 1 guest per paid driver. They are permitted to be passenger as long as they follow our helmet and seatbelt requirements and sign the waiver.
